So what I'm understanding is that the following conditions must be met?

Have 100%

3am

Rain and Thunder

Top of Mt Chiliad

Full health

An unknown variable must be set to either 999 or -1

Full health and the unknown variable are not required to see the UFO, they are new conditions that were found by someone who was digging through the files. Possibly a trigger to make something else happen.

Yeah, I'd naturally assume the UFO should be visible to continue the mystery though. The new conditions are a missing puzzle peice.

Yeah. I was mainly just responding to @SmokesWithCigs. I just used your post to clarify.

So what are we thinking the variables could be? Clothing? Hair? Could it be how many wallets we returned and how many we kept?

I was told by a R* employee that to solve this mystery you need to achieve 100% game completion without any cult activity and only then you well be able to start unlocking stuff im currently working on it but i had to send my xbox back to microsoft for repairs so once i get it back i well continue

I had a guy message me on here claiming to be Adam Fowler the Technical director at R* North and he told me that in order to get anyway in regards to the mystery i need to achieve 100% game completion with absolutely no cult activate (Altruists, Epsilon etc....) i have not tried this yet TBH and i cannot be sure he was who he was actually claiming to be... but im thinking that might be the missing varible they talk about here if it is true

https://www.reddit.com/r/chiliadmystery/comments/34j5j8/all_3_characters_at_mt_chiliad/

I may try this...well, I know I will try this. It would be one of the more time consuming tests, to conclude it only to be bullsh*t in the end...but what the hell. I tried the karma play and a couple others that I am too ashamed to vocalize. There will surely be someone though that does it before me...or it could be totally ignored and I will be the only one reporting my progress. Good luck n have fun to anyone else that wants to do this.

edit...removed format.

I don't buy it. Surely out of the many people with 100%, more than a few never did the cult stuff.

I agree with what you are saying but in debate its those kind of people that more than likely wouldn't have done the side missions either Ie: Spaceship parts letter scraps etc therefor it wouldn't have got to 100% to see the UFO's. The game kinda guides you into 2/3 of the cults so its hard to ignore them, i did 2 altruists delivery's in my first play-through just cause it told me too for a few hitchhikers but never completed it cause i didn't realize about the shootout.

Its alot of time to invest to find out its BS as most "someone from R* contacted me" posts are.

No Cult Activity makes sense to me...

the cults are stuck in the Gray area between good/evil, even on the map, as the map is split between Good/Evil/Middle(/Gray area)

The top portion of the map is where you find the Good, the people who have chosen their side against Evil. These people have made it to the top of the mountain.

The Gray area starts around the bottom of Chiliad/Altruist Cult. This area encompasses the Hippy Camp, FZ, Prison, Observatory, Quarry, Oil Fields, the top part of the city, etc, etc. this is where the people who haven't chosen their sides reside. The people here are waiting to see how things play out to choose their sides(Observatory, the people observe the Good/Evil war from here) "See the Eye" = See yourself(I) and most people find themselves in this observational area of life, not willing to commit to either good or evil, although most like to see themselves as good because overall their pursuit is for the greater good(Altruists). Even Drone strikes are intended to do good, even if they kill innocent civilians and this is why Army/Govt fits in here, because their intentions are good, not to kill innocents on purpose.(Hipsters/Rich people/Army/IAA/FIB all see themselves as good guys)

the bottom of the map(starting around lower city area includes the CoM cult because they are straight liars, they just are in it for profit and get up in the morning to swindle people, as opposed to Epsilon and Altruists, who believe they are doing good. There is a difference and it's a Gray area of morality. You also find the EVIL Merryweather group in the evil section of the map, because they are only interested in killing for profit. They have no intention of doing good, just evil.

Now, obviously the lines are not straight across the map and follow different paths, but they do break down in general like this.

Trevor does evil on the bottom of the map, but an evil person can also do good by moving into a good area and doing an act of good.... such as killing a gang of pot dealers that have taken camp in the Good area of life.

The message is that we can't wage war on others trying to do good(even if you don't agree w/drone strikes for example) because anybody intending to do good is on the same side and they should work together. People try to split Vertically, separating the Hippies and FZ for example, but they both want good overall.

The split is not Good on the right, Evil on the Left as people with money would have you believe, causing war between Hippies and Army.. The split is Vertical, Good at the top, Evil at the bottom, and the Observation Deck in the middle, the biggest area because most haven't chosen their sides yet.

Everybody knows right from wrong and if you're afraid to commit to it then you will never find yourself at the top of the mountain.

TLDR: stay away from outside influences trying to persuade you from choosing sides, because they haven't even made their minds up yet.

I really hope that makes sense to at least one person.

Though Ron mentions Trevor bringing people to the Altruists prior to the GTAV Storyline (as in before the player unlocks Trevor)

Anyway I'm excited from people trying this out.

Yes, but Trevor think he's doing good by doing this, so it's a grey area matter, which is where the Altruists are. Even evil can do good sometimes, or at least attempt to do good. That's what i'm getting at. trevor is an undecided in the grey area and that's where he starts at, before going completely evil and moving south on the map to lower city area(Gangs/Merryweather)

Thinking you're in the right and acting wrong(grey area) is different than knowing wrong and acting it out anyways(Merryweather/Gangs/FameOrShame/CoM) You find those groups in the lower EVIL part of the map.(again not exactly straight lines, but grouped together more like it)

M lives in the void also, doesn't know which side of GvE he want's to be on. He distraught and afraid of making a choice of which side to join. Lives in the Observation part of the map/grey area.

F starts out a bad guy(apparently, we only hear speculation about it) and finds himself as just a normal person struggling through life like everybody else when he moves on from EVIL up the map into the grey area and his new house. He doesn't fully choose good, but he often talks about bettering himself and eventually does and finds a way to live without being a complete gangbanger who's only thought is to take advantage/rob someone when they get out of bed in the morning(EVIL)

Sorry to clog, but I just mean in general about all that. I'm not saying this is a "Solving" of anything, or something like that.

It's just an observation of my opinion on how the game is structured and how the storylines/missions follow this division/grouping of things.

I can see that MOST, not all, of the bad things and negativity in the game is grouped in the lower area and it seems to get better as you travel upwards toward the Mountain and the top of the map.

I see that F starts in the EVIL, but as he travels up into the good and does more missions up there where he usually doesn't hang(Because he now hangs w/M who shows him better) he want's to better himself more and more as time progresses and eventually he achieves goal of leaving the hood.

M isn't Completely Evil like T when he returns to form a few missions in after we find him in the grey area. M want's it all, the Family and the other stuff too(Or however he put's it himself) M is waiting and Observing from the grey area and is afraid to make a choice of who he want's to be in life.

I just found the groupings weird.... heh. nothing to go on about :)

I'm struggling to think of a variable that could be set by the player to -1, which is basically false, or 999. I'm thinking ammo, but that's stupid and makes no sense. Maybe it has something to do with your final psych evaluation at the end of the game? But how could it be -1 in that case.

http://www.yelp.ca//underground-tunnels-of-los-angeles-los--- If you click on the google map that is provided you will notice that this place is located at 320 W Temple St which in the game is considered to be Power St. The Famous Templar (Temple) Hotels sit on the N.E. and S.E. corner of Power St and Vespucci Blvd. The park you smoke weed in with the activist is the Civic Center/Grand Park. North Hill St is Swiss St, N Broadway is San Andreas Ave, N Spring St is Vespucci Blvd, even though Rockstar left out 1 block of the park its a dead ringer, We have those trap doors on the sidewalks in this area as well.

http://www.thrillist.com//la-secrets-hidden-oil-derricks-u--- I found this link when I googled "international jewelry exchange los angeles underground tunnel" it mentions a tunnel under several government buildings including the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center and the Stanley Mosk Courthouse.

http://www.burlingtonnews.net/tunnels2.html--- After some reading I found these to be interesting under California.

EL PASO MOUNTAINS - Below Iron canyon and Gofer, NW of Garlock [over a dozen miles north of Mojave, California near the El Paso Mountains], there have been reports of alien beings who control deadly "manchines" which stalk the surface, especially near Iron canyon, at night. Also reports of secret government monitoring activity and also a major electromagnetic 'vortex' energy field in the area. source: UFO ANNUAL magazine [year uncertain]; El Paso Mts.; Garlock Fault Zone

CALIFORNIA, LANDERS - About a dozen miles north of Yucca Valley is Giant Rock, thought to be the largest free-standing boulder in the world. It covers 5800 sq. ft. and is 7 stories high. It was used in ancient times for seances by native American chiefs. Frank Critzer was the first modern individual to excavate rooms from beneath Giant Rock. According to Hank Krastman, Frank stated that in the process of his excavations he "had stumbled onto some unusual glass-lined tunnels under ground which went down real deep". Critzer hollowed out 400 square feet of rooms from under the north side. Deputies from Riverside county [Giant Rock is in San Bernardino county] during WWII tried to apprehend Frank for questioning as a possible German spy [there were several in the area at the time] but when Frank baracaded himself in his "home" the deputies threw in a tear gas grenade, which ignited a pile of dynamite under his table that was used for excavation. The deep "glass" tunnels may have been buried in that explosion. Frank was killed, and newspapers held with the spy story even though the FBI told George Van Tassel it was not true. George restored some of the rooms under the rock, where he claimed to have had meetings with human ET's who claimed to be members of a Sol-ar system Tribunal on one of the moons of Saturn. Van Tassel was instructed to build the domed "Integratron" near the Giant Rock, with the belief that the weight of the rock pressing down on the sand-quartz below created an electromagnetic field similar to the one created about 7 feet above the apex of the Great pyramid, generated by the massive weight pressing down on the quartz-laden stones. After George passed away the "government" blew up the underground chamber. source: INTERNATIONAL UFO Magazine, article by Hank Krastman; Giant Rock & the Integratron

CALIFORNIA, MT. LASSEN - Two young men reported the discovery of a glazed tunnel behind an outcropping of rock at about the 7500 ft.

level on the slopes of Mt. Lassen. They explored the cavern using a strange tunnel vehicle and were captured by men dressed as surface people who were known as the "horlocks", humans under the total mind-control of some alien force, only to be rescued by an underground resistance force. Others have reported abductions near Lassen by a human - reptilian collaboration. source: AMAZING STORIES magazine, Dec. 1946; Mt. Lassen Natl. Park

CALIFORNIA, MOJAVE - Stories of underground pits and shafts [some natural, others artificial mine-shafts] leading to underground caverns below Iron Canyon near the El Paso Mts. NE of Mojave. Reports of underground alien activity, automatons, and electromagnetic vortexes, all of which are carefully monitored by secret government agents. [see also: CALIFORNIA, EL PASO MOUNTAINS]

CALIFORNIA, SALTON SEA - Mountains adjacent to the Salton sea of S. California have been the site of reports of subterranean rock slides, and also legends concerning the ancient "seven caves" of the Aztecs which some believe lie below the area. source: Penny Harper; Salton Sea Naval facility

The Mt. Shasta, CA Entrance - There are tunnels beneath Mt. Shasta that lead to a UFO base there, as well as tunnels that connect with the vast world-wide tunnel network. The Lemurian city "Telos" is said to exist beneath Mt. Shasta. William Hamilton has done much research on Mt. Shasta and the

tunnels. He has privately published a book entitled "Alien Magic" 249 North Brand Boulevard, Suite 651 Glendale, CA 91203

http://www.inquisitr.com//gta-v-online-heists-dlc-update-/--- source codes have information that unlocks elements in their heist operations that include environmental disasters like tsunami, avalanche, and more exciting weather features, which will add to the thrill of the game.

The first code, SET_TSUNAMI_ENV, apparently reveals that a tsunami can build up at a specific area on the map while in a Heist mission when used. The second code, SET_AVALANCHE_ENV, would create an avalanche in a specific area on the map in a Heist mission that could greatly heighten the difficulty and excitement of the game. These two codes for environmental elements are rumored to not be universally available. They are said to be only available for PS4 and Xbox One.

Now we never received anything like this when it comes to heists possibly future dlc I don't know but my question is, could there be a chance these files were added when R* added the murder mystery but just not discovered until February 13th, and because of that they are being tied to heist?

https://emsnews.wordpress.com//we-visit-the-doomed-homes-/--- You will notice most if not all the pictures in this link exist in the game its pretty crazy.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Gorgonio_Pass--- This is just to verify that this fault line does exist. If you fly over the wind farm west to east during the day you will notice its path. It starts in the middle of the Senora Freeway just west of the wind farm. You can see the fault line sticking out of the ground its looks like a red pile of dirt you can't miss it.

http://gta.wikia.com/Www.accept-the-chaos.com--- We have this website in game, which gives us the option to play god. You are given 2 options kill a family and create a Tsunami. The way I see it we own the game we would be considered god as we make the decisions, and the only thing that can create a tsunami is a earthquake.

I have a theory about the unknown variable 999/-1. Ill try to test this out at some point. I think it maybe it. Just 1 question before i test it out:

Q: Does a setting of 999 or -1 mean something or have any significance in the world of computing language, coding, c++, etc.....OR...does it have the same meaning as it would in mathematical concepts/theories?

I thinking this as the ufo dissapears reappears due to viewing distance dont it?

The signs are everywhere. So many obvious signs and references that it's almost impossible to not be influenced and get caught up in them, looking for something that seems as if it's a lost secret.

Nobody knows though, no matter what "reward" they promise, nobody knows for sure.

Just do what you want to because wasting time on a promised reward from a group that has not received it themselves is silly.

Why would anyone join CoM, Epsilon,The Altruists, join a gang, join freedom fighters, or all around work for someone else towards their personal goal is beyond me.

If you're not working on your dream you are working on accomplishing someone else's for them.

It's "almost" impossible to reach the end game without getting involved in someone else's "cult", but not impossible.

EVERY1 is trying to recruit Franklin to work for them in the game, can he avoid temptation?

Simeon

CGF/Gang

Michael

Trevor

Devin Weston

FIB/IAA

Haines

All F wants is to not get involved in pyramid schemes that promise rewards as long as you pay up and go above and beyond.

It isn't that hard to do and the reward is glorious.

All this time looking at the clues, trying to decide which group held the reward.... and it turns out that they are all still looking themselves.
