@Brothan do u mean vertical fold, horizontal fold? diagonal? and what do u think we need to look for if we do fold it? People are more willing to test things out if you give a good reason and it makes sense to them

and personally i think the jetpack is hidden within a mission somewhere and thats why not one has made any progress with finding it, like in the humane labs mission there were parts i didnt look around or explore and i could have swore i saw a few yellow dots as i went thru the mission but i didnt check them cus i was too busy tryin to beat it and get requirement on the first try, i havent had my xbxone for the last 2 week cus its in transit atm but maybe we need to take the mural and the symbols but apply them to a certain mission , trying something different in certain key missions that doesnt meet the gold requirements could also be a thought because you to miss alot of the game when focusing on all golds

Anyone who thinks that the time stopping isn't a glitch then by all means go and test things with it. Then come back and prove us glitch believers wrong.

 

Don't just come in here posting angry posts because people don't agree with you.

 

Prove to me that the time stopping is useful, you believe in it. You do the testing. I ,for one, won't be wasting my time with it, as from all the "evidence" that I've seen scream glitch!

 

Also if your going to come in on your high horse, don't post things a couple of posts after that which has been looked into since day one of this games release.

The mural has been folded, overlayed with the map and analysed since day one. Do some research.

I like to go as slow as possible and test all the limitations and variables of what the missions will allow. This means many mission failed screens, but It's all fun. backtracking through interiors, getting wanted levels, burning/shooting key characters, driving away, suicide. calling cops, searching every inch of one time only interiors...the good thing about doing this is the checkpoint system in missions means you can try lots of combinations and things without caring for mission failed. I will think about the mission overlay idea, sounds interesting.

Sorry about the triple post but this place is what I was talking about last page. The Chicken Xing sign is non solid which is weird, I'm not sure as it's a NG thing but I imagined turning into a chicken and crossing the road there (no joke) as there is no signs of chickens there at all. Also a small animal might be able to fit in the barn doors ajar, though from firing bullets in there it seems to have an invisible barrier.

 

 

 

 

I will check out the chicken Xing sign my friend...this whole place screams 'weird' to me. Grapeseed in general to be honest. I know what you mean about the doors having a barrier, and same goes for the 'black hole' in the barn too.

Peyote is a good shout - I will look into it when I get on today. My only concern with that is that when I was doing all my peyote stuff previously, I was disappointed with how a smaller animal couldn't get into places that it should have been able to - well, not all places anyway. For example, being a chicken could get you under the Mt Chilliad viewing platform (which was cool but didn't reveal anything we didn't know) but it couldn't get you under some of the houses up at the Alturist Camp, which was a much bigger gap than the viewing platform!

 

Who knows! But cheers for bringing that up. Oh, and sorry for not realising that this was the place you were speaking about before - but cool that we have both been drawn to this location haha!

 

 

 

 

Like can someone please do this:

 

-stop time and then go to that one lady who creates a thunder storm after you sleep with her and see if the storm becomes never ending, as well as that website that creates a storm after you get your future predicted, and explore the land to see if anything has changed, you know TEST IT don't throw this being able to stop time away.

 

 

I have played around with the psychic website and I really don't think it can be used for rain/thunderstorm 100% of the time, like we can Ursula. Really can't remember how it worked (or didn't) on LG, but on CG from what I've experienced, it's not a sure thing!

 

 

@Deviant: from that freeze frame, I see 3 lights and a sliver of a 4th!! Would be really nice to get a clear pic or video of it.

like @Vertighost ive taken my time with missions as well (except for the heist missions) and sadly within the Humane Labs didnt find anything of interest and I dont recall seeing any additional yellow dots while completing the mission. Of course its possible I overloooked something but Im fairly certain I didnt

@Brothan chill out, the time has stopped thing wasnt being completely dismissed, Eram and others were just giving their reasoning as to why they think it could just be a glitch.

 

For right now im more concerned with HOW we can possibly get time to stop, I believe thats the first thing we need to figure out before we worry about what to do once time stops. Right now we're hearing two different examples of time stopping in two different ways, if there is in fact a way to trigger it we need to figure out what that is.

I don't see the point in looking for all this crap... because what will happen is you will find what your looking for... lets say a Jet pack which isn't even in the game.... or whatever... and then you will fly it about for 30-60 mins and then get bored with it...and then what? your all wasting your time... I use to be looking for the jet pack and other stuff but then i realized that there is just no point... just play the game normally!

We want to find a jet pack just like we wanna find something surprising and other Easter eggs, that's the fun, it's a great game to enjoy and after completion having another reason to keep playing like this is an ideal way to keep loving it.

Its more about the trip, not so much the destination for most of us. It'll be great to actually find something but even if we dont it'll a heck of alot of fun just exploring every inch of the game. To be honest, these discussions are less about GTA 5 and more to do with how 'people are' in general. Some people like to piss on others bonfires, or at least can't accept that some people see things differently. More importantly, some people feel the need to tell others how they should do or enjoy something.

 

To each their own I say. You don't like what's going on here, don't get involved.

 

Now, back on topic. I have been doing some peyote research in Grapeseed. A few things of possible interest that I will upload the pics for in a bit once I have finished. Not only Grapeseed but peyote in general. Man had I forgotten how frustrating it is to get off Chilliad as a chicken without getting munched by a mountain lion!

 

The peyote thing in general though doesn't need pics. Has anyone noticed that when you start your trip and the character is doing his internal dialogue, when you look at the HUD map/radar, occasionally you will get a big red dot (not a small enemy style dot, much bigger than that) pop up, and it seems to coincide with certain words that the character says? It's weird, and pretty hard to explain for such a simple thing, but if you eat some peyote you will see what I mean if you keep a close eye on the map, during the 'speech' phase. The dot only seems to appear quite briefly (and sometimes you will get it 2 or 3 times during the speech).

 

At first I thought it could be when you click L3 to make your animal noise, but it ain't that. It also isn't because you are pooping on people. Am I being stupid and missing something blatantly obvious here?! Once the character stops speaking you don't see it happening again for the duration of your trip. If anyone is on right now, eat some and see if you can understand what I'm saying. Warning, don't concentrate so hard on the map that you end up flying into something!!!

 

(I have only been doing this as a bird, off Chilliad, for it's close proximity to Grapeseed, so haven't tried sea or land yet)

To be honest this search for secrets or whatever you want to call it adds, at least for me, many hours of extra gameplay. This exploration of the huge map searching for something which we are unsure exists has allow me to keep playing single player after 100% has been achieved. Maybe there is no such thing as a jetpack, of course I'll be dissapointed but still the enjoyment I got looking for it was worth it.

It says on page 1 that if you don't think there's a mystery then don't post here. You posting in this thread is the real waste of time. Who is forcing you to read this thread and post here? So after messing around with peyote chicken and other birds down in Grapeseed:

You're right, it is weird. You can walk through it http://imgur.com/lwVGwj1 and shoot through it. It doesn't cast a shadow either, yet the larger lamppost does (as does pretty much everything else I guess!) To find the sign I watched probably the only vid that includes it on youtube (props to the Polish dude who's video I watched) and I think he was on LG so I guess it's been there all along. I tried crossing the road as chicken at 3am etc but nothing!

 

The barn also had a bit of naughtiness going on too. As a bird you can get a better 'view' through the slightly ajar doors. To the left you can clearly see a doorway leading outside. Now there is a door on that side, in a similar spot when you look from the outside. However, it seems to be more inside the barn than should be natural. See what you think:

Looking at it that way, you would say that the side of the barn runs in the same direction and IN FRONT of the mound. But here is where the mound is when you are actually by it:

Weird no? Anyway, I'm sure there is a technical explanation of this, some magic developer trickery that I am unaware of, but seems weird to a simpleton like me! Also, why is the door invisible from the inside?

 

My chicken trip I ended after I got stomped on by a redneck, but when I came back as Mikey it was nearly 3am up at Chilliad with rain so I got to see the UFO naturally which is always nice (I've never used cheats, just used crazy Ursula, but 100% natural always feels better!)

I still have to look more into the huge red dots appearing on the HUD map when on peyote that I mentioned earlier - has anyone seen it before or could put me out of my misery if they know what it is? I'm feeling like it should be something obvious, but if it can't be explained then it really is very interesting imo.

That chicken sign that you can walk through...there's a pump/valve at one of the oil pumps northern side of the city which you can walk through, I can only assume a few items glitch this way

but everything in the game wouldnt stop, just time itself (some of the videos i saw the sun was still moving correct??)or(if the sun isnt moving then that means the sun is directly related to the time cycle in game which is like the real world) , as in the videos time is stopped but the water is flowing, ur able to move as the character, cars are still driving and PED's are walking around, correct me if im wrong(i know the last 2 things u cant see in this video but there are others showing cars/ped moving)

@soule - From my experience I can confirm the following:

-Vehicles, peds and weather - keep moving/changing, "business as usual";

-Clocks, Sun and the positioning of both characters that you're not playing with - stand still.
