i just test the Eye in the Sky easter egg and its 100% real, not a glitch nor anything that kind...

 

go to director mode

 

1) Set weather to Thunder

2) Set Time to Sunset

3) Go to Altruist Camp (teleport Director Mode)

4) Stay over the sacrificial rock

5) Look at the sky bethtem 19:20-19:50

I'd love to hear your progress and/or ideas about the cave/alcove...maybe we could finally shore up some speculations, as unlikely as it seems..but you never know.:-)

 

I'm actually caught between variables at the moment. From when I last posted regarding the cave, I was speculating about time vs peyote animals. I don't have many variables to work with, and about 50 animals vs the time table mentioned from the cave drawing puzzle. As stated it has the sun, and of course to sacrifice something in the fire... a nocturnal creature is stated and at a certain time of either the morning or the evening.

 

My problem is the time table variable. I have yet to find any specific time cycle tables in the files to demonstrate when the moon phases begin with the New Moon and when they end with the Waxing Gibbous, or even when the actual Luna Plena (full moon) is calculated into the games mechanics. Thus this creates a very complicated and "very long" process of elimination. Which is probably what R* had planned the entire time. I suspect that R* will have more secrets regarding game 5, in game 6. I'm hoping that the two games are intertwined. But of course, this is pure speculation on my end... but, never can tell.

 

They came out with the new character "Beast", what's to stop them from dropping more involvement into the game? The next update, I perceive will be something to do with the military, ufo or open environment scenario's. This is all they have left out of the game.

The "Eye in the Sky" may be real to some degree, as with any shape from the sun that looks like a human eye, yeah. But... Bigfoot is just standing there, at station. There are no secrets to be solved being stationary. What was the point of seeing the "Eye" without any tangible proof of unlocking anything, other than "just staring"? This solves nothing.

 

IS there anything we can try with the "Eye" and the Altruist Camp that we know of? That actually unlocks something or that reveals anything else? This is what the "Hunters" are always wanting, which is why we're Hunting for Secrets. This isn't necessarily a secret. It seems more to me like a small discovery with something else to follow? I'm speculating at this point.

people are acting like nuts about the eye in the sky.. they dont think right.. its a EFFECT that ONLY happens at 19:20 - 19:50, and its CLEAR and CRYSTAL to anybody that have like 1% skills to know how games illumination work.

Don't try to enable the actual Hunter's into ever stopping the Hunt. It's a hunt for a reason. But I digress... why two video's of useless B.S.? If I wanted to watch Clickbait, I would be on youtube. Please try to give us some actual "relevant" theories and/or secret's to investigate other than what is an actual "SUN and Bigfoot looking at it" or a vehicle glitching up the side of Chiliad. Are these secrets? NO... let's try to move on to some beneficial angles rather than sharing "clickbait video's.

 

Jeff, I have always agreed with the time/cycle vs random event stuff when it comes to the games grafitti. But, why would R* put that type of graffiti all around the fire alcove other than to tease players that there might be something to possibly be found?

 

Again, Trevor is the only character in the game that doesn't have a "secret society" to interact with, save for the unsolved Altruist sh*t. I state "sh*t" cause it's now the last legitimate thing to try solving on the grand scale of out-in-the-open mysteries. Unless this is another thing that R* scrapped (doubtful). I don't think so... like with the Beast content that was recently added... I'm damned sure that R* is going to try to keep GTA V alive by giving us random revelations just to keep us IN THE HUNT. This has been proven by the Beast content. How about we keep giving them hints as to what we as the PLAYER's want in the game? They gave us the Beast, why not additional content that keeps us motivated? Like a new map to find, or new schematics to find that clears up the time cycle variables and/or where we really and actually need to concentrate next?

The first: Try not to call a Hunter out on anything as simple as a "reference".

 

The Second: Try not to over influence your audience with forceful instagatory phrases.

 

The "SUN": I've tried it, yeah. In my evaluation, it doesn't reveal anything other than the "sun" looking like any eye.

 

Advice: if you going to be a, or to carry on as a "butt-hurt" member over comments/posts here... I suggest you continue on to Reddit. They seem more accepting than actual Hunters who treat the thing as a hobby to "Entertain" our selves with. It's a small thing... Lighten the F*CK UP. It's just a game... 36 years of age or not.

I think i've run into the time cycle...it might be weather only though. I'll need to take a closer look.

 

Don't like the songs, don't listen..change the station, stomp the device and throw it out the window. Plenty of options within ones control. Lol. A troll has as much as you're willing to give. ..and I personally play GTA with no sound, so I don't have to go cry at somebody every time it odfends me.

@soul - I believe it was Stangone50 that has made some heavy testing/observations with the moon phases long ago (ingame, not with the files) , making it pretty easy to "find" any specific moon that you wish.

Unfortunately, after a quick search, I couldn't find it. You can try to pm stangone (he's still active in here, though mainly at GTAO). Let me know if to no avail and I'll try to look for it again.

The problem is that every week or two, there is another guy promoting essentially the same ideas, and feeling hostility when they are not greeted with praise.

 

You need to understand that these YouTube guys are counterproductive and just play into the minds of youngsters. When you perceive hostility toward yourself, I can tell you, with 99% certainty, that the hunters in this forum are instead expressing distaste and frustration with the YouTube crowd.

Or with distaste for the ill mannered characteristics of those who want to seem as though they are "priority one" and as they seem that way, could be considered as the "look at me" type. I don't mind the youtuber's. I used to be one. Than I started setting my vids to private or "eyes only". I don't get butt-hurt over criticism, though. It's done and over, moving on.

 

Thanks for the tidbit, Eram. If the moon cycles are to be considered, than I think a few anomalies may occur during Full Moon phases only. But I have yet to correlate weather vs fullmoon for comparative research. Especially when it comes to changing into those certain Nocturnal Peyote pets of ours.

This guy did a really good job IMO, and with his directions i was able to see both morning and evening eclipses (w/ weather cheat and LOTS of sleeping to progress time).
