Nice to see how the entire community switched on that Big Foot Mystery, it feels like a race to a common goal, I never believed there would be such a moment after 2014

Actually, I'm very sad about it. As a legit hunter who never cheated, it's very frustrating to see people ruin the game for everyone else just because they want to get some internet fame for a week.

 

This... is actually going to be my last post. I'm done. Not with the game, but I don't want to be a part of the community who promotes cheating when there is no reason to. The game is not broken, is it?

 

I know I'm not exactly a member of the community that is highly praised, but at least I never cheated.

 

Very disappointed that this is being praised. I know it's exciting, but indulgence and having to be the first one to have the info and new tech is kind of what Rockstar is making parody of. I guess they "Nailed It" as the saying goes. When you look at the Meta, they predicted all of this.

Where have I read this before? X, instead of announcing crap like this... why not just lay low for a while. No one condones cheating, but when I look up script coding to check for anomalies... this is technically cheating.

 

For the others, the Bigfoot storyline theory is slightly refreshing and yet... I think it's a red-herring.

Right so I'm on the 7th golden peyote but having issues following the cries of the Bigfoot - has anyone got all event locations around the map I can go to or any advice on how to follow his sounds accurately?

 

Spent about 2 hours last night running around trying to find events following the cries even with my surround sound. Went to the airplane yard and he wasn't there.

 

Please help!

Put on headphones and pay attention the direction you hear it.

 

The path/'event locations' to him is random.

As much as I don't like the way Reddit works I found a good map someone uploaded there showing all locations of events and all 'invisible' checkpoints, so will try again when I get a chance.

I think anyone would have trouble finding that useful, no offense. You won't know which you need to go to, would take an ungodly amount of time, assuming it would even work, and it's easier just to listen to headphones.

okay so i am on peyote 7 hunting the beast and only saw the hunter from the spawn point so far and while searching for checkpoints i clearly and distinctly hear a horse. i dont know what that signifies but its real and it happened and theres the video of it from just minutes ago. i had to record on an iphone so it looks like sh*t but the sound is unmistakable. im thinking the bigfoot peyotes are ALTOGETHER their own sorta easter egg hunt modes and there are alot more rewards to be found than is being reported due to the randomized checkpoints leading up to unlocking these certain different things. it would make sense because they could have planned all of this from day 1 and included the mural so that the internet trail would be littered with doubt and trolling. the trains of peoples thoughts have literally derailed the minds of gamers and hunters. and until the bigfoot peyotes there really was no other deeper hunt.the mural is just something made to make speculations run wild and lower a persons interest in a true easter egg hunt. thats my take on hearing a horse during this big secret bigfoot easter egg hunt

idk i never heard them and ive pretty much day in and day out played story mode exclusively since the last gen release so i dont think id just hear it now for the first time. also the outfit you see on that bigfoot hunter is the one john marston can eventually unlock through hunting on rdr and thats the first thing you see when waking on the 7th trip. idk it seems like no matter what it is, someone says something was known about yet there is no published proof to be seen in my experience when it comes to the online community forums

Whats the point of using ingame images from old gen/current gen (ps3) to solve mystery in new version ? People are going nuts on reddit trying to relate the old gen ingame clues to the new peyote mission that is only available in current gen.

they had an outline or rough draft for the masterpiece but it still needed touching up before the game was whole. they knew true fans of gaming and gta would have both and play both extensively

how can they be "wrong" about their own work exactly? this is their own creation, the fans took it to the extent they wished but the game is of their design. i dont know how the "fans" can say the game is being made wrong. go play cod or madden then i guess riiiight?

 

i think thats what "come back when YOUR story is complete" means. its speaking to gta players all encompassingly. it means when OUR stories are complete.outlandish crazy assumed stories were why bigfoot was a fan legend in san andreas. i truely believe that could be what "our story" was meaning.

I think he means they, as in R*, threw together the bigfoot/beast EE as a way to pacify the dedicated fans who had developed a bad case of apophenia (Go ahead, look it up). Seems most plausible to me.

 

Honestly, i think the original mystery was a a dead end put in to get players to delve into all the esoteric imagery and sybolism that's not so discreetly "hidden" in the game. From the gigantic X shaped contrails in the LS skies, to the alien agenda conspiracy and then all the quite obvious mystery school references.

 

R* probably felt like they should throw SOME kinda tangible result as a bone to us morons...again, just my 2 cents

Eh, the masses will almost always choose obliviousness because it's not fun learning gigantic (quite horrifying) truths. Okay so i was browsing youtube tonight an i watched a mr nightmare video and in the second on the list he talks about an alien sattelite that has been orbiting our planet for possibly thousands of years now (ikr) so this satellite is said to contain a map to the distant planet calledEpsilon Boötis. Then this made me think about the UFO at the top of mount Chiliad and the fact that the EPSILON PROGRAM ties into the whole conspiracy thory and they are set in the cloouds in the clouds like the sattelite in the video (or something like that) so then i also remembered a video from nought that says that the mount chiliad mystery and the epsilon program are linked in ways. is this possibly saying that the UFO on Mount Chiliad contains a map to a distant planet or the key to eternal life like the epsilon program promises i cannot quite explain my thinking better than that so post what anybody thinks. i think this is a new link

Think of Nought and other mystery youtards as, as equally useless as the commercials lying to you on television. It's dressed up to suit the climate of the content presented and the hope that you will be personally drawn to it, by using buzz words or things regionally familiar to you.

 

Coca cola advertising likes to do this a lot. During winter months they show people in snow, enjoying a bottle of ice cold Coke...totally happens all the time, right? The mentality is to make a connection with you. Look, it's winter...omg, it's winter on that Coke commercial too. What are the chances?! Watched NASCAR last night and Coke plays some stupid country song while dudes with big belt buckles chug Coke. They don't really, but Coke says they do..and Coke knows you like NASCAR and country music...same with these youtools.

 

They say and show a bunch of nothing. They are there to stimulate the disturbingly high percentage of people that believe and are easily manipulated into thinking a certain way. It's emotional advertising, in a world sidetracked by achieving equality...that which is impossible to achieve when we have the equality divisor, money, at the wheel of everything. It very well could be ambient sound, yes. But it could also be a hint that R* may be pulling one of their famous, listen to one of our future updates scenario's? Could happen. After all, the horse was destined to have been put into the game but pulled from it at the last moment before the game was released. I'm surprised Modder's haven't installed the Red Dead Redemption horses into the game, yet. It would make things so much easier rather than hijacking cars.

Hell, I'm pretty damned sure youtube moderators/admin don't really care about false titles.
