Well now. Less of a distraction. I didn't even know there was a "sleep mode" like a regular cell phone. This is extremely nice. No reminders or anything that tells you to continue a mission or go for the next. I wonder if this is what the Professor, meant.

I wonder if these are these the same "greedy, rich dudes" that X allegedly signed an NDA for? No sign of Starcover, and X reappears, fascinating...

 

Anyways, I completed doing all of the endings with 100%, including all of the choices. In ending B, you drop Michael or try to save him. I dropped him, tried to save him, and then I didn't choose anything and he dropped anyways. Should I count that as an ending as well? I made a separate file for it just in case. I did both Trevor endings, and the "Deathwish" ending. I got the same psych report for some of the endings I chose. I have everything documented with the corresponding psych reports. Yoga was mentioned in a few of the reports. I can post all if you guys want. The only difference I've seen so far was that when I killed Michael, it unlocked Chris Formage in director mode. It unlocked him when I dropped him, when I tried to save him, and when I didn't make a choice. I didn't get that message with any of the other endings. I haven't done any exploring yet on these new saves. I have a few things in mind and will keep you all posted. I'll take suggestions as well if any of you have anything in mind.

 

As far as the EMP DROP number, I'm done with that, If it can be done before 100%, I don't see how it's mystery related. That's just my opinion though.

Speculation on trolling gets an individual nowhere, fast. Who cares who is who here... let's just do this, and concentrate on what needs to be done. As far the "EMP DROP" cell phone number, let's try to concentrate on what it actually works for "real world" style, like my links specify. Electrical Tower's, etc. I will test these things out personally and see where it goes from there, instead of testing the EMP number on just "random things" like everyone else is doing.

Well I am not testing on random things (okay the giant orange was random) but trying it inside the tram as it's all run on electricity was a good idea I think.

 

I'm still not convinced 100% it's an EMP though, maybe someone can explain the "drop"part, Is this like when the Beat "drops" as in an action is performed, triggered, or do warplanes drop these things into warzones? (I mean apart from nuclear blast)

 

Using what we know of "Black Cellphones" if EMP is part of the wording I would say "Extra Mobile Phones" or "Easy Mobile Phone Drop" could be considered also, being some type of developer tool as most of the normal "cheats" traditionally are, but an explosion occurs to signify activation and differentiate it from the "for the players" cheat code phone numbers, and maybe the developers call "Cellphones" "Mobile Phones" as is common in many places of the world, including my own.

 

Or we could have the early beginnings of a proper working EMP "blackout" ability for Single Player being tested by devs, which could be fun.

So i've been reading some posts over the Mt. Chiliad Mystery reddit and I now believe the actual phone number spells 1-999-EMPEROR.

 

 

 

It seems that's the web name for the new color scheme for the cellphone, so this number changes the cellphone color to Emperor Grey.

 

However, there's two things I find odd about this:

1) Why is there an explosion with the new color change? Maybe this is some sort of scrapped dev tool and the explosion is a way for the devs to know the script took effect? Seems rather odd.

 

2) When you change the game language to italian or portuguese, it spells "Secret Cellphone" (translated) instead of Black Cellphones, so maybe the "black" in Black Cellphones is not about the color but rather a possible reference to a Blackphone, read: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blackphone

 

So if this is really some kind of secret cellphone or whatever, what do we do with it? Can we access some sort of Deepweb with it? Can we do special phonecalls (Omega, anyone?) What if we take pics of the UFO's with this new 'secret cellphone' camera?

Until his prior claims can be substantiated, I would suggest paying him no attention. He claimed NDA. Maybe he actually did but I would provide proof if I made such claims. I'm inclined to agree about the number being EMPEROR. The explosion could actually support the EMP theory though. Who knows? I mean who really knows. Not some starved for attention troll leaving cryptic nonsense. Good luck

 

Anyone tried "old numbers" or "old cheats" after blacking out your phone? I can't just yet. Will try when I get home.

Edit...I'm hung up on finding stuff that shares certain qualities with our pictures on the mural.

 

I felt the Panic logo shared some interesting things with the ufo on the mural, in addition to the other candidates.

 

I still believe that we are able to somehow apply the mural in multiple locations....and it is drawn in a way in which no specific part can be considered detailed,..or specific. This can also be considered when attempting overlays. It's too rough as it is, to be used or considered as a precision tool, to me.

 

It's been my long speculation, that things within the game we encounter, that seem to share more than one quality of what's depicted on the mural, may be significant if one could tie it all together.

 

If I go with my above thoughts and reach a bit more...I might then consider that if the mural holds some dual meaning or purpose..it may tell us what we are supposed to be finding.

 

The ufo, egg and jetpack man could be simply enlarged boxes that once contained Xs. For the considerations of it being a puzzle to solve or some sort of pictorial clues leading to a solution, we are given three images. It then may be up to us to provide additional information that then fills the remaining boxes.

No. No more wild dream, crackpot theory horseshart. This thread be getting THIRSTY AF. The mystery thread of old would have long past moved on from emp drop and 7pointless peyote by now. Unfortunately, i fear our only hope now is SP DLC..

You mean like when people were still discussing the Green Light (old gen only) even after it's finder agreed it was a glitch?

Maybe you're referring to all those pages suggesting honking the SD whenever some new theory popped up, or doing yoga at 3 am Mt. Gordo with M just after dropping the SD on FZ's ufo (after honking hard on the "special horn") with T while F was on top of the underwater ufo?

Theories are just that, theories. Testing new and different stuff is pretty much the same, and surely why imho we're still around.

 

The 7 peyotes were found about 1 year after the game was released on PC and all the files were already "thoroughly" checked"! Yep, they were present since day 1 on PS4, XBone and PC.

People aren't sure yet when that EMP phone number was available (so far, I've only seen one claim on reddit stating that it was present since new gen's day 1), though meanwhile many topics were created displaying "all" ig's phone numbers...

 

SP's dlc isn't the answer.

If/when released, it can only give some extra clues for something that might or might not exist since release, or give us some new things to explore.

On my older file check, the Black Phone and the number were and still are in there. This was before upgrading to 350.2 the Latest update. I just thought it was irrelevant. So who knows what other, "irrelevant" things we have overlooked that could be important tomorrow.

Somehow I have managed to lose all progress on single player still have my online stats n stuff but having to start from the very beginning again lol not actually played single player in a while so gonna try some things differently this time.

Eram, i gave up ages ago but the pace of things still sometimes gets to me. Not disbelief at all, just discouraged. I was hoping for some concrete if not even vague confirmation from R*. And it IS just like them to add something like this but keep %100 mums the word about it until someone figures it out on their own.

 

Curious either way honestly, and am sure to check for any progress every now and then. Especially curious as to whether or not cheats are a necessity or a hindrance. The amount of skill or luck one needs to naturally spawn BF peyote seems to indicate a hindrance, or dead ends IMO.

 

AGAIN, not trying to discourage anyone, just adding my take as an experienced hunter who gave up to keep up with GTAO. however I was around for all of it, so I DO have some insight.

From what I've seen and played, the number was never shown. It does show that the blast not only killed the guy, but also disabled the camera for the unveiling.

The reason I ask about Niko is because he is mentioned various times (in SP and MP) and if I remember correctly, he once mentioned he wanted to be an astronaut.
