Announcement

What?

• We’re hosting a Logo competition within our Snapmatic competition.
• We are looking to redesign our logo from it’s current state to incorporate the GTAF logo and the Rockstar Snapmatic logo into one beautiful blend to represent our Weekly Snapmatic Competition.

Why?

• The Judging Panel discussed for a while on making a universal logo for the competition which incorporates the GTA Forums where we are based.
• This logo will used on here (GTA Forums), Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Who?

• Anyone can enter. This includes the judging panel, but I’ll be excluding myself as I’m organizing.
• We have GTAF staff members on board who are going to be voting on designs.

When?

• Starting from now until December the 13^th (Sunday) 2015, 7PM EST (12:00AM* GMT). *Midnight
• This gives you 2 weeks to work your graphic design magic.

How?

• Participants enter as usual with their Snapmatic entries for the week and include their logo design underneath.
• You don’t have to post every week, just once is fine.
• If you’re already posted this week you can go ahead and make a new post containing your logo design. But remember to only do it once.
• If you make alternations you can edit up until the Logo competition closes on the 13^th of December.

Additional Info:

• Max size of 500px x 500px (pixels) for just logo design by themselves.
• Max size of 750px x 750px (pixels) for logo design with additional text of "GTA Forums Snapmatic Competition".
• When submitting these two entries they must be the same logo design, just one will have additional text.
• Include GTAF Logo and Snapmatic Logo in some sort of capacity. It doesn't have to be an exact copy, it can be stylized how you see fit.
• There maybe a prize awarded to the winner, but that's to be seen just yet.
• I'll save each logo to an Imgur image gallery here: GTAF Snapmatic Logos Entries Gallery. I'll try to update it when I can.

Hey folks. Quick update to the Logo Competition.

 

I'm going to make it so people can make 2 entries.

• One with just their main logo design.
• Another with their main logo design plus text that they wish to add such as "GTA Forums Snapmatic Competition".

This allows us to use just the main logo design for smaller avatars such as on Twitter.

 

Note that the logo should be the same on both entries, one just has additional text.

To compensate for the additional text, the second entry can be a max size of 750px x 750px.

 

Here's what it looks like using GTAF logo as an example:
