Really loving the entries so far, everyone! The response to this weeks theme is just incredible.

 

Anyways, I was wondering if you guys would like to see some sort of voting process for the next theme. For example, sometime in the middle of the week, I would post a link to a poll, and then you guys vote on whichever theme you'd like to see used for the next round. Who would like to see something like this happen weekly?

This is a great initiative Android and it is great that you ask what people think instead of just saying that "this is happening from now". Keep up that good work!

 

However I would say no to voting for the next theme. First of all I like a challenge, when I don't know the theme I have a limited time to get a photo of said theme. If I know I have a great shot from earlier I would vote for the theme that matches my shot best. Or I can go and get my best shots from each theme so they where ready to post when a new week began.

 

A point summary of challenges:

1. I only got one week to take a photo instead of one and a half.

2. There is so many themes out there that I cant know what will drop next week, wich is more challenging that knowing 3/5/10 or how many that will be in a poll.

3. I cant prepare myself or vote for a theme that will match my already existing photos.

4. More importantly; others with great pictures(of a specific theme) are on an even level with me instead of getting an opportunity to impact the poll towards a theme of their choice.

 

This is a contest and I am very competative of nature. I'm not saying that I prioritize to win always, but it is fun to try getting in first place. IMO(!) This will remain a great contest if some things are decided by the judges/leader(s). Like the next week theme.
