Are you sure we can consider GTAO as an MMO?

"MMO" is open to interpretitation.

 

32 players in an openword IS MASSIVE

 

Map size is MASSIVE.

 

If it's not a MMO then I don't know what is

it seems he is right since there is stats ( consist shooting , flying , driving , stamina , stealth , strength and lung )

It's an Open World online multiplayer, action-adventure *and sandbox. An MMO is a game generally more organized and linear than GTAO, with role combat and stuff.

Edit: It has some influences from MMOs but isn't it's genre

Yeah, hard to agree that if classifies as a "MMORPGFPS" - But if it ever does, I guess we can say it's the best, yes, mostly becuase there probably aren't many other "MMORPGFPS" games.

My brother calls it Crime Simulator MMO

 

That said, it can't be compared to anything else so it's not the best. It's alone in its class.

Depends if c* lets us cook and invite ppl round to eat packs of salt n vinegar spirals and they need to add a gatto creator so I can create all kinds of mayhem

Yeah, no. GTAO is not even comparable to things like World of Warcraft and Elder Scrolls Online (though ESO sucked...)

 

GTAO is not even an MMO. The map is NOT massive, it is quite small compared to most MMOs. You can only have 32 players? MMOs can have hundreds. It's barely an RPG as well.

It's an open-world sandbox. You would have better luck comparing it to minecraft than world of warcraft. The open world we experience in GTAO is not massive at all, 32 players is not comparable to hundreds and thousands of players. Hell, this game is barely an RPG.

No, if it's an MMO, it's a mediocre MMO at BEST. It's an organised Third Person Shooter with elements of RPG mechanics and obvious sandbox gameplay, or in short, it's a pretty open Third Person sandbox. An MMO it is not.

No. It has elements of an MMO but not entirely. Is it the best? Yes and no. I play it more than most other multi-players but has too many bugs and issues. Least EA or Activision don't run it.
