I actually feel some sense of movement when using hood cam vs. the other camera views. I'm back on team GTA V. Now if they could fix the 1st person input lag...golden. As you may know using the Hoodcam in GTAV on the Xbox360 and Playstation 3 allowed you to take snapmatic shots while in the car and while on the Hoodcam. However this is not possible on GTAV on PS4, Xbox one and PC (Without mods) When you attempt to take a snapmatic using the hood-cam feature the camera will temporarily revert back to the 1st person view of the car interior. I am coming from DriveClub and now Project Cars where the bonnet is rock solid.. But there is something very familiar about the Bonnet view in GTA and it felt very natural, so i am happy. Its a shame you cant toggle in/ out of cockpit view as there are still times when thhe incar view is nice... Bit thats a minor niggle.. I am more than happy they have added this in its current form. abrasion Posted June 15, 2015 Share Posted June 15, 2015 I'm either going to buy it again in the next week or two, or I'm waiting for a GOTY EDITION with the DLC (although little has been said, they have confirmed some expanded single player story stuff, akin to Gay Tony and Lost and Damned for GTA4) so we'll see - dunno but that cam seems good enough Can I confirm pulling up the phone "pushes youu out" of the hood cam? My remaining issues with the PS4 version are small and I'd wager not just 99% but 99.9% wouldn't notice - not worth the battle. (Lighting engine is DEFINITELY changed, going for a drive at night, it's just too well lit on the PS4 vs PS3 - it's darker and nicer? on the PS3 - just... a better experience) Snapmatic reverting to in car, won't kill me - the cam they returned is otherwise tip top - loving it. (I borrowed a pals copy) - so I guess I gotta buy my own ♥ Thank f*ck all that whining paid off.
