I like this. You make a good point. I don't know why so many people are flaming this. I'm not asking them to remove the cockpit view. One of the things that has always made Grand Theft Auto so great has been the fact that you could do basically anything you want. Not just in the game, but in the options. It increases the appeal. For those who love the cockpit view over the hood camera, can just simply not use the hood camera. Personally, I feel the hood camera is more of what I see in more life. My FOV going down the highway is the road and the horizon, I glance at my speedometer, but it's not in my FOV. Try it. Next time you drive somewhere, just start down the road and check yourself, see what most of your vision is focused on, what you see in your FOV. Although it may exist in your field of view, your still have to glance at your speedometer. For a split second, you still have to look away from the road to check your speed. It's always easier to just disable a feature than completely remove it / delete it as it might be dependent on other variables. Jacked my driving up pretty bad until I got used to it. Driving fine now, but still not in love with all the screen real-estate consumed by the dash. There is too much of the interior and not enough of the exterior. I liked being able to see past the windscreen, better corner handling and obstructions. We need hood cam. I wonder if when I buy V for pc, I can modify the camera for vehicles before I even start playing. Just looks like the camera needs to be moved a bit higher and to the right so it's not like your right up against the door of the car. I don't wanna let this go - the only way I'm enjoying this game is with motorbikes, it's really taken a lot out of it for me. Fingers crossed. Oh...my...God... I have been anxiously awaiting this game and my PS4 that I ordered as a post Christmas present to myself. Even though I already had owned the PS3 version I just really wanted to enjoy the scenic vistas in the graphically improved PS4 version. and I just want to cry over the lack of the hood cam in cars but I want to just smash the game over the lack of the regular hood view in the air planes... W...T....F!!!!!!!!!!! ARRRGHH!!! why is it not on option?!?!? ROCKSTAR! I want to return this game or sell it over the lack of a nice hood view. I think the first person is very cool and I plan to use it at times but PLEEEASE PATCH and give us the option of the hood cam!! I loved just flying around dive bombing and doing crazy stuff in my planes in the old first person view! I want to see the road and I want to see the pretty scenary... not some stupid cockpit gimmick!! please please please please patch this or I am going to truly regret buying this version. thanks. I am as passionate about this as you, but don't have the patience or time to keep on as you did.. I relied on yourself to keep up the fight and now you are gone there is literally ZERO chance that anything will be done (even thought there is a near-Zero chance of it happening even with your campaign).
