I decided to make this thread because these both games are going to be released on the same time so i though about doing this poll.

 

And also say the reason for buying that game.

None...I will get Dragon Age Inquisition, but thats about it! Gotta save my money for PC release og GTAV though!...Far Cry 4 is not going to leave up its hype believe me!...Its another money-milking project, that only looks fun on paper...

Good question! I've been askin my self for the lastly few weeks which should I get... I thought hmmm gta v I've already played so il give the new gen version a miss... Proberly won't be much of a upgrade anyway eh? But then I seen the latest trailers. Pre orderd within minutes of watching them haha!

In case you were unaware you're on GTAForums.com. Obviously there's going to be an extreme bias for Grand Theft Auto V here.

Far Cry 4 only cause its a new game

 

takes 20 hours to get 100% anyway and as soon as I do that I'm trading it in for GTA5

I don't see what everyone else seems to see in Far Cry. It looks boring. Plus...it's from Ubisoft. So you're just asking for trouble.

Its actually somewhat opposite in my book! Most of Ubisoft games tend to look fun, but as soon as you get to actually play them all this fun is neglected by frustrating nuisances here and there! I won't list them all, lets just say they're almost as bad as those of COD, Halo series etc...Basically Ubisoft is one of those developers that suffers "EA" syndrome...this concerns almost ALL their series...

Neither, seeing as the PC version of V will be released in January, and I'm not very interested in Far Cry 4. I might pick it up when it drops in price.

 

 

 

 

Or if Ubisoft actually made decent PC ports.

Both, I'll probably wait until my next paycheck to get FC4 as I already preordered gta & wwe 2k15. I loved 3 and after seeing and reading about 4 I'm fully excited. The story isn't as good but I expected that. The world is huge and dense with tons of different animals to interact with. But I only played gta on last gen until december and miss it and am so ready to jump back in and cause mayhem.

 

 

 

mini rant- All this crap about "fc3.5" is pathetic. No one says that about mario, or zelda, or uncharted, or mass effect, or even GTA. But of course the kiddies need to be edgy and have something to hate. Last year it was EA, this yeah UBI. Next year probably telltale or enix or something.

The more people hate, the more it motivates developers to actually work their asses! Hatred is a fuel! If the world consisted of only naive ponies, who believe that making peace with everyone is the only way to survive, we would be already doomed by now...Besides all those hate is not without reason! More and more companies turning into corporal dickheads, who only care about their money, thus stabbing their customers in the back sure doesn't help much establishing long and lasting positive relationships with the customer!...This is basically a long story told short! I could write you a POEM literally as i really have lots to say on that matter, i just don't see such a need!

Both once I get a PS4.

 

I'm so excited to explore the world of Kyrat and close proximity jump off of Mount Chiliad in first person. Two of my most anticipated games for sure.

Far Cry 4 started looking more meh to me the more I saw of it. Far cry 3.5 indeed.

I'm also really bored with shooters in general.

 

V all the way. But that has nothing to do with Far Cry. Rockstar just has the touch.

I think people moan so much about GTAV because they want it to be the ultimate game and therefore are being unrealistic. Its not a matter of will I buy Farcry or GTAV ...I want to experience both. In other threads people were saying R.I.P Watch Dogs but I for one am actually really enjoying Watch Dogs right now as I've only just got my PS4 last week with that game...and just because GTAV went into a FPV doesnt eliminate FarCry...two separate games.

 

Edit: this is not directed at OP or anyone in particular... Just talking sh*t

Why do you think it is bull? I only purchased gta for my ps3 and i will only purchase gta for my ps4.. I have other interests like photography etc This game is large enough, expands enough and keeps me occupied for my gaming needs. Exploring, Animals, Customization, Flying, Driving, Combat, Ocean, sky, city, countryside, mountains.. biking... humour.. missions.. social side of it gaming online... what other game do i need? I am more then content with GTA only.
