Anyone looking at the streams and judging the quality of the graphics really need to focus on the fact that it's a stream. Playing it in full 1080p, uncompressed, will be very different. I personally still think it looks a lot better than last gen, but I'll hold off real judgement till Monday/Tuesday when I play it myself.

It will be great, I just wished that all the upgrades would carry over entirely to Multiplayer. I like Single Player as much as any other guy, but having already Platinum'd GTA V on PS3, I don't feel much interest in doing the SP stuff again.

Agreed, Forza is a gorgeous game. Driveclub faced similar criticism from Youtube videos but compressed videos will never do justice to the glory of current gen games.

Yes. They seem to work in the same way as before.

No, the guy I watched streaming for 2-3 hours bought a "new apartment with new interiors", but it was the same as in High life update. If I remember the update correctly. Nonetheless there still was those advertisements on the "new" apartments, but nothing new in that sense.

 

BTW, the Hatchet is online, and it looked amazing on First person. All in all the street fights with any melee weapon look like a whole different experience when someone punches you to the face in FPV.

 

SP has cats and dogs walking in the streets. Also some other new animals in the woods. SP traffic spawning was amazing, 40 cars in traffic lights, and not like 5 different models x8, but really like 20 different cars x2. Looked amazing. I saw at least Stallion, Panto, Huntley S, Rhapsody, Blista Compact and Pigalle spawning in SP. None in MP.

 

Karken and Dodo can be purchased online, also Blista Compact, Stallion and Dukes. You can place the neons on different places under the car. There are options front, back, right side, etc. Then you can select the color for the neon setting bought.

As for the amount of cars, i do wish we'd get more as i'm pretty much out of space. i know i'm replacing my manana for a dukes because the manana was my "dukes of hazzard" tv based car so it's a no brainer it gets swapped out. I'd like a hotknife though and i'm not sure which car to replace. i have a few "special" cars that i doubt will be able to be acquired again so they aren't going anywhere (wingless phoenix, gold wheel phoenix bandit t/a, clean rebel with roof lights and baja bar, regina with green tint and extra luggage, fully modded burrito van)

I would like to know as well. I don't think it changes my mind to purchase, but I think that a private game, with a few buddies whaling or hunting would be fun. I also think that deathmatches in an enclosed area with 20 mountain lions would be a lot of fun.

Yup. It will put the cars in the first two slots in the garage, the rest go in to "storage" but can still be accessed with the mechanic.

The more I watch streams and hear updates about whats changed I feel like GTA V is just another Last of Us Remastered. A year old game selling for $60 with nothing but slight visuals enhanced. Hell the vehicles can all be added to current gen and a lot of things people wanted; animals online, third garage, singleplayer physics online, two seater sub...just not there...

And I'm not sure if I get it correctly, but it seems new player (not transferring) won't be able to see the new cars as well as Story Mode new activity.

yeah i have 10 and 6 with 4 in reserve. I never drive my 6x6 so it might be traded in for a hotknife.

As far as I know, mate, it's only possible when you're actually downgrading from 10 car storage to lower storage. Maybe, in last patch it's possible to store 10 cars in every property, but I'm not sure. So, basically it works this way: you're operating in 10 car property, filling your garage with vehicles then downgrading. Voila, cars are accessible through mechanic.

There's literally no way to lose everything...if there was a problem transferring, your old character will still be there intact, ready to be re-transferred (though I'm sure you'll tell me Rockstar won't do that).

As for the rest...no animals will be a huge disappointment, especially given that people have hounded Rockstar about this since day one of Online. I can only hope that gets changed by the initial patch. I guess we'll find out in 3 days.
