Nobody ever confirmed it's online, and in fact the "Pokemon Snap" mode is mentioned as being Franklin (iirc).

 

But don't worry, there's a totally new foliage model! And more NPC traffic!

with regards to the whether or not animals will be online, Ive just spent the past hour and a half leaving comments on 4 different official rockstar newswire videos, searching support, tweeting some of these infamous gta youtubers (so that perhaps they can make a video raising the topic and rockstar will see), and even tweeting rockstar support (since they are on a roll right now replying to alot of people at the moment) and I just got a direct response 43m ago from Rockstar support on twitter saying: "keep an eye out for info on that on our newswire page: rockstargames.com/newswire" ... hmmm maybe they will be there after all

I find it hard to believe that the servers are actually "on" at the moment...unless there has been done kind of contest/etc. where people are allowed to play before others

 

LOL this happens with pretty much every game. If you know someone who works in a game store, it's easy to be playing nearly a week before other people.

I was thinking that but then I saw how many people posted on their support over the past year asking if GTAO will get animals etc + them advertising how one of the big new additions is wildlife and I realized they would be a little crazy to not add them to online as well (since most people are playing online anyway)... but anyway Idk of course im a little sad this guy on reddit didnt see any yet but at the same time Im holding on to this little bit of hope that they will be included online lol I reallllllllly want to go hunting online every once in awhile

Yeah, it's one time transfer, after that, your PS3 account will no longer effect your PS4 stats.

Are the graphics as good as in the trailers?

Yes and no. Yes, they look good and some things are really beautiful. But once you get passed the initial shock of new-gen graphics, you start realizing there's still aliasing, and it's still not perfect. The rain also looks less impressive than in the trailers, at least in my opinion.

Damn, I was so hyped about the graphics being much improved, and seeing my cars in next gen.

Have you fully appreciate your GTAV experience in PS3/X360?

 

If you only play GTAV for two weeks or a month then stick to GTAO for the whole year, pretty sure you haven't fully experienced and appreciate what's there.

 

Although I must say Rockstar is really wasting their time adding animals to a GTA in the first place, it's really is pointless to add more species from what's there since the beginning because players are playing GTAO instead of turning on their PS4/X1 and sit down watching cats walking, deer grazing, etc.

Animals are the only thing that will get me to go next gen. Honestly, I don't care if you pack 100 peds into a single sidewalk. Without wildlife, over 2/3rds of the map will be barren, just like it is now. Nothing in the ocean? Not even a fish? No reason to ever go there. Run around for days alone in the woods? Not even a single f*cking deer? No reason. The ONLY reason I see people leave downtown LS these days, is to go to the military base to get a jet, Paleto bay to hide at their house, and Trevor's airfield to fly back to LS. I never see dots wandering the woods, or operating a sub at sea. Never. There needs to be something outside of the city and highways connecting Paleto bay and LS.
