[NO SPOILERS PLEASE] Would it be enjoyable to play the campaign 3 time

So this is a question to all console gamers:

 

I have never played GTA V but will soon with the PC version, but I have had this question since the day GTA V got released on PS3/X360:

 

Is it enjoyable/recommended to play the game 3 times, and each time you play as much as possible with 1 of the 3 main characters?

Or would this not be enjoyable?

 

Anyone done this?

 

And please no spoilers. If you have an argument about why this is not recommended, but you think it's a rather big spoiler, please leave me in the dark but just tell it's not recommended.

 

I play on playing the game in this way at the moment:

1) First completely in Third Person. Primarily to experience the character animations since you wouldn't see those completely when playing in First Person.

And which of the 3 chars I pick as "main", I have yet to decide. Any recommendations?

 

2) Then, probably around a year later, I will replay it in First Person.

Now with one of the 2 other chars as "main char".

 

3) With the char that's left over.

I will simply say it doesn't work that way and leave it at that. There is a lot to do and one of the fun things to do is hanging out with a friend or two at the same time, you can get into a lot of mayhem.

Personally no. Twice max for me. And the missions where all 3 characters are used usually forces one perspective for certain objectives.

It'll work outside of SOME missions. You'll kinda be forced to play with all three characters but for some missions you'll get to chose a character Did I spoil anything major ? If yes let me know.

It doesn't work that way. You'll HAVE to play each of the characters at some point in the story. You can pick a character you prefer playing as in Free Roam barring certain points in the plot where some are unavailable, but in general, you'll have to play through each character's eyes at some point.

I hate to say it, but there isn't much difference (aside from special abilities) between the three characters from a gameplay perspective. Certainly not enough to warrant playing through three different times.

There's no such thing in my book like having to play GTA set amount of times! Its one of those games, where even if you are done with the story, picked every collectible, completed every side job and finished the game 101% even after all that there is always a huge world with random generated NPCs all around, vehicles to drive and destroy and so on! Every of those things is "fun on its own"! And you are an architect of this fun! You chose how you free roam, you improvise and create something out of nothing (well...given there IS nothing left to do off course...by nothing left to do i mean activities, missions and anything else that "triggers an event" or requires some kind of "action")...

But I will still keep this system:

1) First playthrough completely in Third Person.

Well..be my guest then! Its you, who decide how you play the game! Don't let others impose you their way of thinking, it is simply impossible! It doesn't necessary mean you shouldn't accept any opinions off course, but you should make your OWn assumptions based on those opinions!

I've beat it 9 times and I focused heavily on each character at least once...

 

and I can't wait to beat it a 10th time next week!
