^ yes, but claiming the insurance is awkward, at least last time I looked. When only your bike is broken, Mors won't answer. if another of your vehicles is destroyed however, you will find the bike listed in the menu for the vehicle restoration. It is quite odd.

EDIT: I should also add that I don't know if there is a difference insurance-wise between bikes that have been purchased vs. bikes that have been "found".

I remember hopping on a race bike and decided to do a marathon around the map. It was relaxing, and nowhere near as taxing as it was to run around the whole map on foot...

New mechanics for BMX from Americana Wasteland, it's all that is needed. I spent sometime at skate park near LSC in La Mesa, because it's Jet safe zone.

I love my BMX. Too bad the only way to enjoy it in public session is to go into passive mode. Otherwise people see me on a bike and will always try to run me over lol

About 2 or 3 years ago I road my Endurex from my house in El Burro Heights to the top of Mt. Chiliad. On the way there is like a little camp site with npcs so I chilled with them for a bit. I was killed 4 times on the way up by a guy in a jet but eventually I made it to the very top. It took forever to do.

^ Legend has it that in the early days of the Tour de France, cyclists were attacked by wolves and bears while climbing in the Pyrenees Mountains. I salute your pioneering spirit :)

Maybe we need more interesting cycle races in GTA, or at least a nice trophy honoring players laid-back enough to tour San Andreas with their bike.

Gosh, fw3, this thread got me seriously hooked obviously ... guess I'm not done with bikes yet ;)

The same thing happens to me, xwinkx_girlYakuza, so you're not alone... though I must admit, I'm the first person to run somebody down if they're riding past and have squeaky wheels! ;)

I think that's a good thing, right? lol! Anything to keep this game fresh and fun is good in my book (even thought I don't actually have a book). ;)

BMXing around this map is something I relished ever since day one, even in story mode before online.

Had one as a kid, and though me and my buddies would go out and 'do jumps', we never had the balls to try some of the really cool things I've seen others do on bikes and skateboards etc. Always feared crushing my beans, lol. No thank you!

So much fun here too. Don't as much these days purely because I don't play quite as much and there's just so many toys out there. After picking up quite a few things this year alone on sales (because DDH/2x events paid well for me), I've gotten so many bits to goof around with now, not enough hours in the day, lol.

I like having all the BMX colours I could find too, though lost a few since I need to replace. Do enjoy mountain biking here too, and would have loved to have seen triathlons pop up online as that could be a laugh.

I hope whatever the do to future GTA titles, this stays. Simple fun to me.

Well, fw3, you've inspired me to bring my 2015 Online experience back.
I offered my friend to go cycling to mountains and then my other friend (which never actually plays GTAO) joined us + one more random fella. I did some snaps.

It wasn't long, but sure it was more fun than doing repetetive money farming.

<snip>

Just look at that sh*t though. 5 years old nearly, and still looks beautiful. This part of RDR2 just cannot fail. The screenshots really do look awesome to me, here and RDR. Can just feel people smiling the whole time on things like this you show.

People have complaints, and many pop back with 'don't play then' but after all that stuff is out of the picture. This game is just all sorts of anything to us at any given time. Easy to forget when things go tits up sometimes, but posts like this, and threads like this just remind me just how much simple fun there is out there.

Thank you, Sanches - the pictures are ridiculously awesome! Kudos to you for taking to the pedals and getting the pics! Just awesome!

And thank you, both, KWF1981 and Derphoe for the feedback. I can agree with you more and feel the same way!

Cheers! :)

i don't think a bike dlc will ever happen since bike riding in a public session makes you an easy target.

Every Danny MacAskill video is death defying and worth the time it takes to watch. The guy is super human. His early videos... so scary.
