Better car customization (PS4/XB1)?

As some of you may have noticed, I really like cars. That's why I recently bought Midnight Club LA, which is of course made by Rockstar Games. Comparing those two may seem a little odd for some, but since they already had developed the customization for Midnight Club, I'm surprised at how bland the car modifications are in GTA. No vinyls/decals, no changing the sizes of wheels and tyres, max. 2 colors per car, no suspension height adjustment, no interior mods (as if it would have made any sense on these old consoles where interiors are hella blurry), no hydraulics/airbags, the list goes on...

 

So, seeing that they have pumped the game up for newer consoles, I'll be really disappointed if they still have only these sh*tty current LSC mods available. Well, yeah, not that kinda disappointed since they do what they do but it feels like a waste of good content that already exists. Sure, Midnight Club was developed by R* San Diego and GTA is done by R* North, but remember, people still compare GTA to RDR which was also developed by the San Diego studios.

 

If you haven't experienced Midnight Club, look up videos from YouTube. I won't link any here since I don't want to promote any of those [email protected] who can't tune cars for sh*t.

Customization in MC:LA has nothing to do with GTA V, if they wanted to have better customization in GTA V they would have done it either way.

I recently bought Far Cry 3 for the PS3 and I must say it's an excellent game. But just imagine my disappointment when I found out that there was no dancing in it. I mean, Ubisoft had dancing in Just Dance, so why leave it out of this game?

Yeah, pretty much every software house is almost a new company each time they have a big title, if you consider firing 95% of the staff and hiring new people to be a new company. It's no surprise they end up with people that don't know what's happening, but coding the most fundamental parts of the games.

With the new car interiors, hopefully we'll see a new interior decorator. Changing the color of the speedometer is the only thing I can think of at the moment.

 

Except, this is just me being optimistic. For all I know Rockstar could just give us nothing but neon underglow. Not that I'm complaining, I still think that's pretty cool.

Apparently someone found code for custom interior lighting, we know under-body car lighting is coming so I think it's safe to assume more car mods will surface in the future, such as hydraulics and NOS maybe?

Im sure we,will see better customization on cars on current generation consoles and pc, on release im not expecting, a fat lot, but in the future im expecting proper spray jobs amd better custom mods.. I just think we will have to wait a bit... thats a update in itself..

I would love for more customization as well I've been spoiled through years from racing games (mario andretti, sega gt, forza, a bunch of need for speeds, gran turismos...) but seeing that they added the neon underglow gives me hope that there may be even more options down the line (and having more room to add things now is a big plus as well)
