GTA Online Achievements/Trophies

I haven't seen this answered before, but does anybody have any idea if the GTA Online related achievements/trophies will automatically unlock when you transfer your character to the new version? I see the achievement/trophy list is identical to the old-gen versions so you can't really earn some of the GTA Online related ones again without havig to start all over again. I fully realise you'll have to earn the single player ones again, I get that, but it's going to be hard to earn the Online related ones when you already had them previously.

 

For example, if you already have "Reached Level 25", "Reached Level 50" etc, then I would think they should automatically unlock when you transfer your character, rather than having to start from scratch again with a new character.

 

I posted this question on the Rockstar Newswire comments yesterday and the moderators kept removing my comment. After my fourth attempt they banned me!. It now says I breached their rules about leaking game information. Perhaps they were unhappy that I mentioned the achievement/trophy list is identical to old-gen, but I only found that on xbox360achievements.com so thought it was public info!.

logic says they should transfer, but with R* one never know...

 

SC award would transfer, trophys unlocked during story mode wont transfer. dont know about the online trophies tho

This thing with the SP stuff not transfering is total bullsh*t. And it makes sence that if your SP doesnt transfer why would the trophies. Which would mean removal of many platinum trophies. But with R who the f*ck knows as their logic is without any sence.

I will not import my current character if my Bad Sport status does transfer (I will test this on a second account first). If it does not transfer then I will import my current character who is rank 157, but I will then also create a new character on a empty character slot in order to re-unlock the multiplayer achievements. I have unlocked all the achievements for this game on Xbox 360 with 1000 gamerscore.

lol Yeah. Hope it stays like this, makes me kinda concerned about that PSN maintenance due on Monday, just before the official launch of the game.. Will it disable this??

 

Anyways, this guy here is Level 100 yet but every other trophy he had in his Ps3 version unlocked seconds apart. (Note, not the same guy from that stream)

What about the platinum. No point in transfering trophies just to take away the platinum. Yet another swift kick to the nuts from R.

Can anyone confirm this is the same on Xbox One?

 

Also, is it only for Level based ones (Level 25,50,100 etc)? or does it include ALL GTA Online achievements that could potentially be done again even without starting with a new character?, these for example :

 

Unnatural Selection (GTA Online: Complete all 10 waves of a Survival.)
Run Like The Wind (GTA Online: Survive for a day with a Bounty on your head.)
The Midnight Club (GTA Online: Use custom vehicles to win 5 races.)

All multiplayer achievements did not unlock for me when transferring my characters from Xbox 360 to Xbox One.

 

These did unlock:

• Unnatural Selection
• Show Off
• Three-Bit Gangster
• Making Moves
• Above the Law
• American Dream
• Numero Uno
• The Midnight Club

These did NOT unlock: (Update: they have unlocked now)

• Decorated
• Stick Up Kid
• Off the Plane
• Backseat Driver
• Run Like The Wind
• Clean Sweep
• Enjoy Your Stay
• Crew Cut
• Full Refund
• Dialling Digits

This means I must delete one of my two characters in order to re unlock these achievements. I did unlock all achievements and had 1000 Gamerscore in this game on Xbox 360.

 

Update:

 

I have solved this issue and did unlock all other multiplayer achievements. I tried to re-transfer my character again, and it did say "no previous data..." but some more achievements did unlock then. Then I did sign out and in on Rockstar Games Social Club, and also unlink and link my account again. Also reboot Xbox One and the game few times. Then the rest of the achievements did unlock some time later.

 

First "Decorated" and "Stick Up Kid" did unlock, then an hour later rest of the achievement did unlock by random.

 

I don't know why they suddenly did unlock later, maybe because of what I did above, or it might have been because of I did submit a ticket to Rockstar Games support, or none of these and it was just an delay in the system. I don't know why.

Wow that's stupid hahaha I'd be SO done with rockstar if that happened to me like I'd never buy another product from them again why give my money to a company that's a dick to me?

Yeah, same thing happened to me. I unlocked the leveling achievements then unnatural selection and midnight club. afterwards I just left GTA online closed GTA V and restarted my Xbox One and when I got back online the rest of the achievements all appeared at once.
