Yeah the burning heart tattoo is not easy to unlock because you get thrown in a team deathmatch 90% of the time

Funny you say that because I felt the opposite way when trying to get it.

While you are 10,000% correct that you are most likely to be sent to a TEAM DEATHMATCH, that is exactly the reason why I went for the "Team Carrier Award" a.k.a. Grim Reaper leg tattoo first, since you are most likely to be sent to 50-'Team' Deathmatches before you are sent to 50-'Normal' Deathmatches.

When it was time for me to get the "Slayer Award" a.k.a. Burning Heart tattoo, all i had to do was 'Quit' every Team DM and just patiently wait to be sent to Normal Deathmatches.

Now the other reason why I found the Team Carrier a tougher one to get was because i cannot tell you how many TEAM DM's i was the damn MVP but it doesnt count if your team loses the match. So there I was being the Top Killer on both teams but thanks to my high rank I'd get all the clueless players on my team, my efforts would go to waste because-- and I have said this before--- i had teammates going 4-30, that's 4 kills and 30 deaths. Meanwhile my stats were like, 27-5.......it hurt, and i can still remember getting angry that i would lose by 5-10 kills because i had a teammate playing Rambo, just GIVING the other team kills.

So it took me longer to achieve the Team Deathmatch tattoo because of that.

I have not begun to chase those tattoo awards for my 2nd character. Thankfully the recent Deathmatch weekend allowed me to play and contribute towards getting closer to unlocking them for my 2nd guy but i wont get serious about it until the matchmaking is fixed or I get a Deathmatch Filter.

By the way, I got my tattoos during the dreaded Prison Thugz Fight days. That means, exiting out of PTF at least 20 times a day.

Can't go through that again. My 2nd character is going to have to wait for his Deathmatch award tattoos.

Good points, i did not know that your mvp's do not count if your team loses, i only started doing deatmatches for the tattoo's about a week ago so it sucks that i'm getting the low levels on my team because of my high rank. Today i got a rank 8 en rank 30 on my team en on the next team deathmatch they put me against them with a rank 108 player, so the match making is crazy. should have started with collecting these tattoo's way sooner :)

Dont worry, all it takes is a lucky streak or just having the mindset to Deathmatch as much as possible. Just dont be a dummy like me and worry about the K/D Ratio, imagine trying to be the team mvp and also worrying about not dying too much? I made it harder on myself. Anyways i wish you luck and PLEASE post pics of your success, as you can see, i had my phone ready when i visited the tattoo shop after unlocking them.

Yes... and there will be a lot of other graphical and other errors/glitches in the game. Stupid people falling for the hype all over again, it's really sad. Anyone who paid $60 for the 360/PS3 version and then is going to pay another $60 for the new version is bending over and presenting to R*

Enjoy your PS3. I'll be over at the PS4 bending over but laughing at you.

I used to spend $60 an hour at the bar, people spend $60 on six pack of cigarettes a week that destroy their lungs and you want me to feel bad that Rockstar is making me spend another $60 for a better version of the game?

So you want to know who the real stupid people are? The morons like you that get left behind while the rest of us move on to better things, even if it costs us a meager $60 for hours and hours of entertainment.

Now go back to your Nintendo and leave the grown up decisions to ourselves.

Oh and do yourself a favor, change your screen name or open a new account on the forums if you ever move to next-gen because otherwise, i will put you on blast for calling us stupid for getting excited over what is the INEVITABLE future.

Apparently, people are reporting that other player characters on the PS4/XB1 (except you on the server) still have blurry textures like skin, tattoos and hair. If this is indeed true, then that's really silly.

I play another game on PC APB:Reloaded it lets you put ur own tattoos on characters it had this exact same issue an, the problem was if you run the game on a 32bit OS everyones tattoos looked blurry and crap, If you run the game on a 64bit os everyone elses tattoo's look fine. So Yes they should look fine in GTA 5 now.

It was a system limitations thing an im pretty convinced rockstar have been developing for pc ps4/x1 the entire time an scaled it back for ps3 stuff like this shows that. In the end its marketing if it came out on ps4 first they wouldnt have made the 2billion dollas for being a last of the old gen style game. Look at San Andreas for ps2

I'm glad R* focused on non blurry tats instead of more traffic/animals online

What if I told you it was done on purpose? Seriously, how can so many people think it was a bug, error whatever? Simply done to save up some memory, all character textures except yours were dumbed down, including shirts, hats and you guessed it: tattoes and emblems. That's the way it works. But PS4 and XOne will be able to handle higher res textures.

So can you actually see other peoples crew emblems on their t-shirts and tattoos on their arms etc on PS4?

I personally always see my own crew emblem tacked on everybody else, which is bullsh*t because I'm the only member of my crew.

Yes, it's much better than what was on the PS3/360. They aren't quite as detailed as when they are on yourself, but at least you can make them out now.

They never fixed the pants glitch though, they still look like low-res crap. Black pants still have those ugly purple patches.

It's your PC.

The tattoos are just as clear as your own when you have proper settings.
