People need to realize that the only reason you had such a hardon for the interiors in IV where because the city was boring as sh*t and there was no where interesting to go. You didn't have a huge desert area or a giant ass mountain to dick around with and hide from the cops.

Sorry, but that's bullsh*t. Well at least where I'm concerned.

I don't care for huge, wide open spaces with nothing much going on, or lacking exciting/interesting things to see and do, because that was the case in V. There is only so much sightseeing and wildlife watching I can do in the wilderness and countryside with nothing much happening there, and then what ? Ok I saw animals, nice. Ok I saw nice trees and mountains, nice, what next ?

Messing around with cops in wilderness or countryside don't really excite me. I'd much rather have an intense shootout with gang members in a restaurant or nightclub/bar, with people screaming, shouting and running, music playing and cops coming into add more fireworks. That's my kind of messing around, not wandering aimlessly in the mountains waiting for cops to look for me.

I THINK I know a way to get into SOME interiors but you MAY need an Online character. Just get into the creator, set a "deathmatch" near an interior location (E: Humane Labs) and while testing the job just go to where the door is and it may open. Not sure if its patched but I've managed to "break" into the Humane Labs' upper interior this way. Using Micheal if that matters.

Everytime I see one of these threads I lose hope for you motherf*ckers. This isn't a new game. This isn't anything besides a really impressive polish. It's possible that they'd add interiors in a big dlc like they did with EFLC, but that isn't what this is. You can't keep f*cking assuming that sh*t will be added and then when it isn't get pissed off at Rockstar.

Then GTA isn't the game for you. Have you picked up Watchdogs? Tons of interiors there.

This. And lol @ "huge desert area". The Grand Senora Desert is more like an oversized sandpit than an actual desert and I don't see the point of a huge mountain to escape cops from when killing someone with a suppressed weapon on top of one will still see the cops know exactly where you are.

This all comes down preference. I don't have a problem with countryside co-existing, but IMHO the roots of the series lie within the urban environment.

Liberty City was anything, but boring to me and that's because they put so much effort into making it feel more lively than anything else they tried before. It's just a shame I can't say the same for Los Santos. It has so many inviting buildings yet it's a kick to the guts when you realise you can't enter them.

The nightclubs are the biggest tease in the game also.

They never even promised new interiors, so why would you expect them?!

Because they claimed the new-gen V would be groundbreaking and because these new consoles allow for so much opportunity. Not adding interiors or at least safehouses and garages is some unbelievably lazy bullsh*t.

I don't get why people think better hardware = more interiors, they are not even that relevant to hardware limitations. Interiors aren't loaded into memory until they need to be, that's why we have this big ass ocean floor surrounding the map that doesn't cause the game to lag or anything, because it's not rendered until it's actually visible. Same applies to interiors.

Oh, there are many people that wanted FPV. Trust me.

Tons of people wanted 1st person. Stemmed all the way back to GTA IV.

If it wasn't wanted, it wouldn't be so acclaimed like it is now.

I never got the fuzz for fast food interiors. The simple ''immersion, dickwad'' answer ins't going to make me change my mind that 24/7s already cover this role.

Fine, I respect that. Just like I don't get the hype about that pointless FPV for the new gen version of V.

I don't expect about having "new interiors", but, if all those closed interiors which are staple of the series and are present in almost every major title of the series, again remain inaccessible with NG either than I'm going to be seriously very annoyed, and extremely angry.

We can't speak for sure right now without playing the game first, but, really they better be ready to enter. There's no excuse left now nor any reason whatsoever to not allow us from having those closed interiors fully available, including casino, and mall.

Exactly this.

Rockstar's bullsh*t is exhausting as well as frustrating. I bet you any money with this new technology they are still not gonna bother with more interiors. I'm pretty sure their staff smoke weed all day and hardly do any work.

I really don't understand what's the Deal with interiors..especially fast food ones.. I remember that in IV i've barely used one of them.. I used more street vendors and BTW interiors don't give me immersion, animals roaming around, realistic vegetation and weather do ( IMHO )

What's the point of a city if it feels like a cardboard cutout? Infact I'd describe Los Santos as being the opposite of a prison in that sense. I found the restaurants useful, but more importantly they were good places for having shootouts in and made the city feel more realistic.

Personally ever since VC one of the first things I do is walk around and see how many different buildings I can enter/discover. To me walking around in the wilderness staring at random bushes and whatnot is boring.

I'm more of a city guy and I found Los Santos disappointing that the only interiors it had were the stock standard ones. Nothing interesting like a porno shop, pub, cafe etc.

Even if new interiors are added I doubt they'll be anything significant.

I'm guessing he likes explorable exteriors, remember the guy who coined that term ? Looool :lol::lol::lol:

Some guys on here seriously have no common sense or understanding of simple things. There is absolutely no point in explaining why interiors benefit a GTA game, their titanium thick skulls simply wont allow them to absorb and understand the reasons.

Because it's so bad have a different opinion here.. I think you have that thick titanium skull to not understand that. Have fun with your fast foods.

You sound like you're new to the series. I don't know how someone with VC as their favourite GTA can possibly not understand how someone could prefer stirring up sh*t inside of a bar or a club. Haven't you ever tried rampaging inside The Malibu Club before?

Maybe GTA isn't for you.

The lack of interiors is still the main thing I miss from Liberty City. Getting the perfect tactics together in each individual interior for both cops and free roam online really added to the depth of battles. The limit in available tactics compared to IV because of the lack of interiors still disappoints me every single time I hunt or get hunted.

I agree with just about everything you've said. Hiding from police in the countryside can get boring pretty fast especially when compared to wreaking havoc in the confines of a populated interior. And as far as all the ocean space it's exciting for maybe the first few times you explore it but after that it just becomes mundane.

I'm not bothered as PC gamers will be able to unlock the mission interiors using simple native trainers.

to me IV actually had some repeating interiors. (if you exclude EFLC)

as far as interiors go, Vice City will always be the best in my opinion.

you had an airport, a mall, a night club, a creepy apartment, vercetti's badass estate, that building in prawn island and so on.

there was just so much variety and they were all interesting to explore.

They make good games but they've become assholes and it almost feels like as they get richer, they get lazier. Like the focus more on lurring people in with marketing tactics as opposed to actual groundbreaking features.

Okay I really didn't think this thread would get this much replies overnight so let me set a few things straight for all you assholes who saying interiors aren't needed?

Are y'all serious right now?

Interiors kept me playing GTAIV . do you know how many times i escaped the cops by running in random buildings in gta 4?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXDRIZ2rsbw&spfreload=10&channel=AlejandroToresBlade

with the intense cop system in gta 5 i would love to have interiors. WTF do we have masks for in this game? and "stealth"

anyway back to topic.

Ask yallself this question - don't real people eat in real life? don't y'all think that eating would be more cool than having a half health bar all the time or having to look for a vending machine when on the street?

Im not saying that losing/spending money is cool, but if your gonna let us make millions in this game, open the Casino to atleast take back our money lol... it sucks when you get to rich in this game because like @Miamivice said the game becomes a big cardboard. you cant walk into simple stores and doors that shoulda been added to the game from the get go.

and someone said they would have to add more animations if they add interiors ? I'm not even gonna take my time to quote you cause I've never hear something more dumb? (mall for example)

-the same entering the door animations?

-same shop//cashier animations

-i really wanna always have one place to get drunk.. the strip club... oh yeah and lets not forget its all the way in the hood? while theirs other strip clubs in the rich areas not even open???

-same NPC walk around animations?

-so many small stores thats just closed? This game is supposed to be based of a real L.A? really ... and this is suppose to be gaming on nextgen? So when exactly we suppose to get interiors in a GTA game then? someone tell me ?

-would it be to hard to use to same npcs, sitting down drinking bean machine and put a bean machine in the mall (like a starbucks) ... with npcs chilling out there with their coffee?

- they would have to add npcs shopping animations but what has rockstar really done besides work on online?

- all these nice back alleys houses and abandoned buildings in the industrial area that can be used for escaping the cops and they don't even have em open, would've been perfect. with dark interiors like the abandoned apartment in the señora dessert. SMH

the only animations they would have to add is for food places and think about it again. it would only be relating to the player because all the npcs would be sitting and eating.

a bunch of useless car garages and repair places. A lot of little bars/alcohol places we could've been going to, to get our "2 minute" drunk buzz while riding around..

I can go on about ideas man but someone else said we working ourself up for a let down... well hey.. guess what.. I know this is gonna be the exact same game as last year. Im not even that hyped about the fps mode cause I'm more of a 3rd person player.

Im not expecting a new game or a interiors addition . I just wanted to point out rockstars laziness towards making a "open-world game"

in the "open-world" .... you can go in most interiors.

Saying you don't like where R* is headed or something is one thing. Calling them lazy and assholes because they didn't do what YOU wanted is another.

Get over yourself, people. I don't call the cooks who work in a hot kitchen all day lazy or assholes because my food doesn't come with a side salad.

These people spend years of their lives creating a game so you guys can have some entertainment. They spend hours upon hours looking over line after line of code to find a bug which could be caused by something as stupidly small as a capital letter.

They work almost non-stop leading up to release to try and make sure everything will go smoothly, and because it never does (for anyone, btw), they spend even more hours combing and combing through their game to fix what is broken.

And you call them lazy and assholes?

Grow up. I'm ashamed to be a part of this fanbase if this is how people act.

Imagine losing the cops in a dense NPC crowd in the mall after changing clothes (in the mall) and going into stealth mode

@sweetbrother - i disagree, RDR had scenery and animals but it also did interiors pretty well, lots of buildings, caves etc to explore. The joy of RDR for me was wandering through the countryside and stumbling on a random building and it actually being open to explore, useful for hiding from cougars or with a few nice details like a fire to chill beside while i skin up.
V iis as much as a few choice places that look inviting from a distance, you make your way over and spend a few minutes trying to figure a way in. You manage to get to the roof and sometimes there is even glass ceilings to see the interior from but you still cant enter. The Schlongberg Sachs building near Pillbox Hill for example and there are many other examples. If these areas arent open in Next Gen then it truely shows how the business has become proit orientated as opposed to gameplay orientated. Theres no reason to skip large parts of the map in favour of loads of animals that may well feel squeezed in given the small size of the various ecosystem areas in the game.
The business you are able to own in SP should be modelled for interiors at the very least. For R* to give us a business that only functions on a level akin to AC's pidgeon assasination mechanic (less even) is a massive failure on their part. GTA is not an annually released title it has a lot of work going into it and it has a very large and succesful company behind it, you people need to expect more not less for your money.

It's not about loyalty. The fact that you can't see that, along with your post, shows you have no, I don't know, compassion? Sense? f*cking brains?.

Calling someone YOU DON'T KNOW an asshole because they didn't do what YOU wanted?

That's f*cked up. It really is. This guy is just doing his job, and you call him an asshole for a dumb ass reason.

Look back at that. Do it.

How about I call Sony's engineers lazy assholes because they didn't include 3 USB 3.0 slots? Does that make sense to you?

Didn't think so. Grow up. It's childish as f*ck, and shows what kind of person you are.
