I know rockstar didn't promise any or even mention putting new interiors in the game but did they literally just bypass adding simple

-food,mall, shops, old buildings and other random interiors? wow, I guess yoga and online got the best of em.

All it really needs is giant shopping mall interior cell with lots of random generated npcs, so that everyone could finally shut the hell up! LOL

I imagine it'll be added.

You imagine way too much! LOL Besides game is released in a few days from now on and we've already seen a stream (no matter how bad quality it was...) so...

I don't expect about having "new interiors", but, if all those closed interiors which are staple of the series and are present in almost every major title of the series, again remain inaccessible with NG either than I'm going to be seriously very annoyed, and extremely angry.

We can't speak for sure right now without playing the game first, but, really they better be ready to enter. There's no excuse left now nor any reason whatsoever to not allow us from having those closed interiors fully available, including casino, and mall.

I never got the fuzz for fast food interiors. The simple ''immersion, dickwad'' answer ins't going to make me change my mind that 24/7s already cover this role.

Noclip cheat, problem solved.

Just kidding but i'm sure you could download/use it for PC. I don't know about consoles.

Hmm how does one refil his health in GTA V? Apart from character switch and health packs?

Online does it well with snacks but what of our campaign?

I think they've really got an unexplored opportunity here. Adding new interiors of larger places or simply opening access to existing interiors would add more to gameplay than, say, extra reloading animations or more detailed ocean flora. People will see those reloading animations for a few times and find it cool. But eventually its novelty will fade into the background. Different, unique locations for firefights to take place has more potential for replayability. New locations, new styles of play, etc. Same goes for the ocean detail - it will eventually fade into the background, unless there's actually more ways to interact with that environment. Big game fishing, treasure hunting, running a salvage business, etc.

I don't think Rockstar should forget about the quality, depth, and immersion of their virtual world. Constant improvement and additions should be a key goal. There's just too much potential in it to abandon in favor of multiplayer gameplay.

In that same vein, they really need to add purchaseable garages or houses. Simply some new ways to spend the ridiculous amounts of money amassed through the game, and store more possessions. We're talking about a game that has a central theme about money and its power. Right now, players are just left with billions of dollars gathering dust. A little bit anticlimactic if all that money isn't able to get you anything, is it not? Plus, you've got a game set in the Los Angeles area, and you can't buy a beach house? That's a pretty huge oversight.

I don't believe that having purchaseable houses doesn't fit with the characters. If anything, it fits perfectly with their desire to amass money and possessions, seek high-risk activity, and finally go legit. I mean, think about it. Would Michael still live in his witness-protection McMansion with his family that he loves and would do anything for? Would he not want to upgrade and leave that life behind with his newfound billions of dollars? Same with Trevor, would he still be living in a sh*t trailer if he had billions of dollars? I mean, think about his past - he was in a group who did high value heists for a living. There are no issues there. And Franklin, who just wants to get that paper and get outta the hood. He's at least got a house in the Vinewood Hills, so that was a good call.

Someone's waking up...

Where did anyone get that they would add interiors? Nowhere.

Just setting yourself up for yet another disappointment. Have fun with that.

Has anyone actually seen someone attempt to enter said interiors though? All of them?

Because if not, what the f*ck are you going off of?

I don't think fast food interiors are really necessary. There are much better arguments in favor of having more interiors, but it's a little concerning that people write off the need for interiors using fast food places as the rationale. I'm pretty sure they're not that high up on people's reasons for wanting interiors.

There's a Police Station, A big ass bank, several other smaller banks, Clothes shops, barber stores, tattoo parlors and even some LS Customs you can enter. I sometimes wonder if you people actually know of them.

I think it's moreso that Rockstar should have done so. This thread is basically wishful thinking, but one that has a lot of logic behind it when you consider Rockstar's goal with virtual worlds.

Well another reason for this is the fact, that usually those kind of places have MUCH more NPCs spawn, so its pure meat fest to enjoy with a minigun! Ahahah...And besides in interriors such as malls, people have much less to hide! Ahahahaha...i'm simply a maniac!...

The Pacific Standart bank has a lot of pedestrians spawn during daytime and the afternoon.

Probably because normal people, you know, eat? They had it in GTA IV so there's no excuse as to why they couldn't have added them to NG versions. The BS is getting unbearable.

Sure, but this thread is also typical for the way people like to dream up features for themselves and then get mad when they aren't in the game. Which is ridiculous considering the amount of stuff that IS in the game.

Yeah, normal people also buy groceries from a supermarket. They also had Phil Collins in VCS, why didn't they have him in further GTAs?

And? what is your point? OMG dude try to understand one simple thing, people simply picked "Shopping Malls" because thats one of the things they associate best with "crowded places", not because its more "special then any other interior, which's in GTAV already!...", people pick this as an example, based on previous experiences from earlier installments, where shopping malls had the MOST number of randomly generated NPCs, its just the whole "memorizing and picturing" kind of thing...

The only shopping mall the series has was the North Point mall, and it wasn't exactly filled what so ever, it just had 2x the gangs.

Well they went all out to add Genesis for the re-release to correct this oversight :p

In all seriousness though, I agree. "Normal people" also sh*t, but that's hardly a reason to whine that there's no usable WC's dotted around the map. If they do add interiors, now or as part of a dlc, I hope they skip right over fast food joints and give us large, open interiors such as the casino, a mall etc. that could be utilized for DMs and the like.

I want more interiors like that, hell even a mall could have fast food restaurants, just like VC.

All the various interiors was basically the main thing why I kept on playing GTA IV, so I definitely hope they add more interiors in GTA V NG, since it gives the game another dimension.
