A new type of Property, how about... A private Yacht?

So I dunno about you or if this has been suggested before, but Yachts would make a fantastic purchasable addition to GTA: Online. The models already exist within Single Player and so, with slight changes to them, they could easily make their way over to Multiplayer.

 

------------------------------------------

 

Basic Yacht main features could consist of:

 

- Acts as a Property and can be spawned in; Features all typical Property gimmicks like TV, drinks, bong, etc... But has unique interior design.

- The Yacht drives around the Los Santos waters automatically in a loop around the map.

- Telescope for beautiful outdoor sight-seeing.

- Emergency boat can be used to drive out of the Yacht, towards land.

- All players invited onto the Yacht by the owner are put into a special passive mode where they cannot be harmed by other players.

- Yachts all hold a special closet containing diving equipment for those who are in the mood to go on an underwater adventure.

 

Optional Yacht features for the higher-end Yachts (Basic Yacht would have none of these):

 

- Helipad that can hold one of your private helicopters of choice.

- Swimming pool for those fun parties.

- "Drug table" consisting of a myriad of narcotics for those curious, adventurous types.

- Servant NPC's walking around and proposing drinks and snacks to players.

- Full-time strippers (require a daily fee of cocaine and various other hard drugs (I'm kidding, but they really do need to be paid)).

- Mini-game stations such as Beer Pong, Dancing competitions or Table tennis.

- Etc?...

 

I'm sure there is so much more you could do with a private Yacht. Do you guys think it would be a great idea? What other features could the Yacht have?

That's an excellent point. Rockstar would need to develop an algorithm that prevents Yachts from spawning within (let's say 500m radius) from each other. With the surface area of the surrounding waters, I think it's feasible that 30 Yachts be present at most without them stepping on each other

That's an excellent point. Rockstar would need to develop an algorithm that prevents Yachts from spawning within (let's say 500m radius) from each other. With the surface area of the surrounding waters, I think it's feasible that 30 Yachts be present at most without them stepping on each other I can see that working, it's a good idea and I think it would work, I think it might be difficult to implement though. But if Rockstar wants people to appreciate and use the ocean more they're going to have to make it appealing by adding something like this.

There was a yacht on test drive unlimited 2 with a ten car garage on it, but it was stationary at the docks

This could be the cheap boat. The ship's aground on the shore of this uncharted desert aisle....except once a day you can go on a 3 hour tour.....a 3 hour tour. But then it storms and you end up right back on the island.

Like any property, one yacht would be shared for all owners. Maybe renting out a specific room. Then a garage on the shore. I'm sure this yacht would disappear during races, considering custom races that are being transferred over with existing characters might have been built thru where it would be located.

There could be a garage below deck, real world high dollar yachts have garages on them, just not sure how big

Maybe at about $2,000,00, though i can't see there being a massive garage if any, but i would trade one of my 10 car apartments for a 2 car yacht with a helipad.
Though this would need some sort of a dock to moore yacht at, and would rather it be there unless i drive it away myself, i would rather not have to guess when my auto driving boat will be near a dock to obtain one of my vehicles. The whole looping around the map just isn't for me.
