Went by a local toy store as well with a really decent inventory, lots of new HW and Matchbox castings, no GT thought I got the HW F150 Raptor, though. I wish this was either Giallo or Blu Le Mans. Some stuff I brought back from my grandparents place: (The big ones) Z06 roof is f*cked up bad, will have to have it fixed. And are based on the real one: The blower isn't for show, its an working airfilter system. The car is almost done, just have to mount the Nitro powered engine and i'll take it for a spin. I had one of those Stepwgn, along with dozens of late 90's and early 00's Tomica. Shame it was covered with paint chips and currently stored in a shoebox. Besides the doors, they also have very high quality of detail for a children oriented diecast. Most of the models have colored lights and badge tampos on them. Shame that besides the scale, the price is also ridiculously expensive for a toy car (Hotwheels only costs half of the Tomica price in here), and that is one of the reason I won't buy them so often, except when I'm travelling to another Asian countries (Singapore in my case) who have first dibs on the new release. One thing that irritates me is that these cars are around $3.49 USD (from what we've seen with the Japan Historics) and most of them don't even come with a full headlight + taillight decal set up.. what's up with that? The nitro engine still needs to break in because its so tight. This one also comes with the 3 speed gearbox/transmission. Its the earlyer Mad force, better looking body then the new ones imo, also has the all alloy chassis side plates. Its a pretty big car: Length 545mm Width 415mm Height 245mm Ground Clearance 50mm Wheelbase 360mm Tread (F/R) 310mm Tire(F/R) Φ 160 x 100mm Also made alloy body posts on my Black Phantom. And the decal set it self is made by me as well. Engine is going on upcoming week and i'll break in the engine right away. Anyone els here have some rc trucks? I finally found an image on the internet of a car I used to have, the Hot Wheels Montezooma first edition: Edit: It's been super long since I last saw it so it could possibly be the Concrete Cruisers one but I'm not sure, it's one of the two. Sadly the axles rusted away because I used to have it in the shower and in other water sources as a kid, funny how I ended up getting cars later on that were meant for that kind of thing. A friend of mine that I didn't know was into HW recognized my Highway 35 Slingshot from across the room at an afterschool thing, it's good that they're so distinctive. Flachbau Posted July 24, 2016 Share Posted July 24, 2016 (edited) Found my first regular Treasure Hunt, today The Night Burner in red.. similar to this one: I also picked up the custom Integra in white since it was hanging around for a while now in my local supermarket.. I love that casting so much that I had to pick it up again Last time I was at this specific supermarket, I found and left 4 Odyssey vans visible, and today they were all gone.. I think there's another collector I have to compete with, haha. Either that, or kids just really love the Odyssey casting. Either way, good stuff is appearing lately. I'm happy about that. EDIT: Oh, and I forgot to mention.. I found another Yellow Submarine, but the card was bent really badly. I left it for someone else, as I already have one. My one has all yellowed wheels and peeling decals, also my Roadrunner appears to have gained negative camber at the front from usage in the past.
