PS3/PS4 switch issue

A crew mate of mine called R* and asked them if you were to create a new PSN, could you switch from your old PSN to the new one on GTA Online, but they responded with there is not currently an answer for the question because you can only link one PSN name at once to your social club. I hope they find a way to change this because I really do not want to use my old name on PS4 for anything. I understand WHY there is an issue but I'm sure it's an easy fix. Hopefully it happens. Has anyone else heard anything about this?

Oh nothin, just figured since you can go cross console onto ANOTHER ACCOUNT that youd be able to switch to ANOTHER ACCOUNT on PS4.

All you do is Unlink it from your current PSN account and then link it to the New PSN account, just as if you were going from PS3 to Xbox One. If you can do that then you can do this. The information is NOT stored on your console it is stored on R*s cloud servers and in their systems. I currently have my account linked to a PSN and an Xbox Live, but I have switched which PSN it is linked to many times before, mostly for exploits but it is certainly possible.

You Choose the account you want to unlink, in this case you PSN,

Then you click the "unlink" button, it is very VERY easy.

This LINK is the UNLINK Button, so id you are signed in at the Rockstar Social Club then clicking it "SHOULD" unlink your PSN account;

And NO you do not lose any progress, I have don't this several time, in fact I have done this to get different tire smoke colors, and different crew emblems, even the checker board pattern(which is a error from having an emblem on but not being attached to the social club) and even while you are unlinked you can still play in online you simply will not gain any Crew Rank, not until you re-link the account to whatever system you are playing on. As I have said I have linked my Social Club account to my Brother's PS3, My Friend's PS3, and currently to my PS3 and another Friend's Xbox Live account. And I have never lost any Rank, Crew Rank or anything and I have had Characters from the beginning of Online.

I am very confused about the character transfer. Somesay you can transfer you character from the old psn to a new one. Recently i made a ticket on rockstar support asking if it was possible for me to transfer my character from ps3 to another psn account on ps4 and they said it was possible and more information will come. Hopefully it is true because i would be a pain in the ass to start over even that this game is fun to play.
