Also, chucking stormtroopers around with the force is more than enough fun for me to buy The Force Unleashed when it's out. Yeah though, the demo download took forever.

Yes it is, In October I believe. I'm going to buy that, Star Wars The Force Unleashed, Little Big Planet and Resistance 2 this year (maybe Fallout 3 too if I have money left). Yep, a good line up for the PS3 this year.

i've had warhawk since release and i stopped playing for so long...then i bought the two new maps about a month ago and no one seems to play them and thats a piss off cause thats a waste of 15 bucks.

Check your filter settings - things like....how many people are inside the game, rank type etc. I've never had trouble finding a game and I've had the game day one.

 

The new maps appear in a playlist. It rotates between Eucadia, Omega Dawn, Vaporfield and Island Outpost etc. Make sure to check your "map resident" option.

I'm so looking forward to LBP, it's gonna be awesome, Killzone 2 looks amazing along with it's MP, Resistance 2 is going to be AMAZING, SOCOM looks great also.

The guy you play as is a Treasure Hunter and a descendant of Sir Francis Drake, he is trying to follow in his ancestors footsteps and find El Dorado, i'm only really gonna say that as it can ruin the story.

Alright guys, my right analog stick is totally f*cked. It will not move properly/smoothly. And it's pissing me off. When I'm playing Metal Gear Online, my character will not run or walk properly. Sometimes, I'll tilt the analog all the way up and the character will walk. Hell, I got this guy tell me I'm lagging. Which I'm really not, it's just the analog. This happened to me on PS2. I've seen some analog sticks completly torn off at Best Buy. But that's probably because it was overused and had been there for a long time. Thing is, I don't play that much. Like, four hours per day, maybe less. And I bought my PS3 last November.

 

So, has anyone else ever experienced this problem? Anyone have an idea of what I can do to fix this, besides buy a new controller.

I've never heard of or seen anything like this happen, i'd just get a new controller, that is your best bet.

Same thing has happened to mine but with nearly all buttons. Both analogue sticks and the right shoulder button (R2) are f*cked! Not a general fault though as I tend to get stressed playing COD sometimes and take out my frustrations on the controller!

 

I’m told they are hard to put back together again should you open it up so be wary of that mate. A new one may indeed be the best bet. Good thing is though now the dual shock is out the regular controllers have had a price drop to a more reasonable price.

split screen is pretty overrated, IMO unless its like a 2 or 3 ps3 event then it could be fun...also im pretty sure that it would be just as easy for you to look for good splitscreen games. thats all you and that 'nutboy' seem to care about...could that be your mate?

as this is the official ps3 topic and I dont know anyone who plays spilt screen games that often. I love "pwning" my friends right there to see their face more than some dude in antartica. I like online but spilt screen as well. I just wanted to kow some games

I was thinking it might be because it doesn't have enough grease/oil to move smoothly. Because I know the buttons have them.
