I was playing around with the browser, downloaded 5 AVGN movies. It's pretty cheasy with out a keyboard

I shouldn't have assumed you are talking about the U.S store. =/ I should have asked earlier but if you were able to download the demo.....I think you should be able to buy it through the demo too.....try it and let me know....

You should try Warhawk as your online title.....it's fun! There are games for it......you just haven't been buying them....if you like single player experiences than I would recommend Uncharted.

University student + unemployed = no money

 

That's generally the reason I can't really get any games.

 

When I start working at the end of April once class is out for the summer, I'll be getting more games and I'll definitely consider looking into the titles you mentioned.

I bought MGS3 yesterday, and been playing it since.

 

And for some weird reason, the game is doing weird things, such as music stops, and keeps on freezing randomly. I returned it and got another one but the same thing happened. I played some other PS1/2 games on my PS3 but they never had these problems.

 

So I'm wondering maybe it's just because I have an 80GB and that it doesn't play some PS2 games as good.

It only has 1/3 bars on the back-compat list. so it must be because of the limited B/C

well they replaced my 20 with a 20 when the 20 was canceled/discontinued...i mean just because they dont make them anymore it doesnt mean that the dont have them...it wont be a brand new one just a re-furb.

The replacement HDD for your 60gb model could be any laptop SATA version, no need to worry about losing functions with it.

I know that you can replace the HDD on a PS3 with any common ore 2.5" laptop HDD but does the PS3 save it's system files on the drive? Like on a PC? I am just wondering because I am bored and I looked if this was the same with my 360 earlier but it saves its 'OS' internally.

I downloaded the demo of puzzle street fighter months ago and just left it waiting to be installed.

 

I installed it the other night and loved it, I went to store to buy the full version, but it's gone

Its pretty cheesy WITH the keyboard. I have a logitech dinovo edge with a built in touchpad, and when my computer is down, i tried using the it with the ps3 keyboard, and it was absoultley horrible. you can't input in multiple text fields. even with the keyboard, the on-screen keyboard comes up and upon confirming what you typed, it presses enter and you can't input anything into the second field.

 

the browser can't do java, and asks if you want to keep running the script on almost every GTAF page. 

 

I don't see why the browser has to be so crippled.

I was actually going to buy one at Best Buy not too long ago.

 

But since you're putting it this way I guess I'm not.

Also guys, Konami will be releasing Metal Gear Solid: The Essential Collection for the PlayStation 2. With three games included. MGS1 that was for original Playstation, MGS2 Substance and MGS3 Subsistence. I'm definitely getting this. I have MGS1/2/3. But I don't have the "director's cut" ones. But I'm not going to mind having two MGS1s. Haha.

 

 

Metal Gear Solid comped for PS2

 

 

Konami preps three-game package of Solid Snake's previous missions to help gamers prepare for Guns of the Patriots.

 

 

While Solid Snake may be a master of stealth, there's very little chance of his next proper excursion, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots for the PlayStation 3, making it onto shelves unnoticed. Despite that, Konami is stoking eager gamers' interest in the game with today's announcement of Metal Gear Solid: The Essential Collection for the PlayStation 2.

 

The Essential Collection will compile the original PlayStation edition of Metal Gear Solid along with Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance and Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence, both "director's cut" versions of the PS2 games. The compilation will sell for $29.99, and will feature commemorative packaging designed by series artist Yoji Shinkawa.

 

Konami did not announce a release date for the game, but online retailer GameStop is expecting it to ship in mid-March.

I just got Lost Planet Online Demo from the JAP Store and I must say the demo is awesome! So addicting! The worst thing is you connect VERY hard to some server. Overload FTL.

I downloaded it and couldn't connect to anything. Now in COD4 all I get is Downloading Game Settings, so I figured Lost Planet was cursed and I deleted it.

It's happening to everyone. It took me 15 mins to connect to a server. It shows "Connection Failed" or "This room is full".

 

Also trying to get in a 1/8 room still gives you an error. If you try to create a room, no one sees it. Gameplay is nice but demo is rubbish.

If you are running linux on your PS3, it is soooooooo worth it. it matches the ps3 so perfectly, negates the need for an seperate mouse, and is easy to use from a couch, but there is no point using it for the standard ps3 stuff, its no easier than a controller.
