Okay after about 5 months, the Elder Scrolls IV have been completed. So now i am in the market for somthing new. Looking forward to Lego Star Wars in november

 

What should i buy next? Rainbow 6?

I really didn't like it tbh. Bit too boring.

 

But anyway, Rainbow 6 is really awesome online, addictive as hell. I played it for days on end at times. So yeah, definately recommend that.

4x4 badges in warhawk are the most annoying thing to get - i've never realised how hard it is to purposely run over 4 enemies in one round. I must of teamkilled like twice as many players than i did enemies

I've kinda gave up on Warhawk. Untill they fix it PROPERLY Ill give it a miss. I mean, spending half an hour trying to get into a server is not my idea of fun.

 

Skate rocks, just getting used to the controls because after playing Tony Hawks for years, its weird as hell.

Also when i play a ps2 game on my ps3 and charge my controller my controller stop working until i restart my ps3. What the f*ck is the problem?

It'll come naturally as you play. Just the whole style and presentation itself sets it apart from the TH series. And if you do actually buy the game, good luck trying to play a Tony Hawk game again. I did and it wasn't a pretty picture.

i was at 1.90, and have to sit through this slow-ass 1.93 update just to get the skate demo.

I actually just got my PS3 last month on eBay for $300 - it looks good and it works like a charm, so I was definitely pleased with the deal. I just need to get some games for it, seeming as the main reason I bought it was for when Grand Theft Auto: IV comes out in (hopefully) April 2008.

Its pretty bastard hard I think. Although it probably is just me, alot better than the old PS2 Stuntman anyway. Don't think Ill get it though, may have to give the demo another go.

 

Im totally in love with skate, its just so realistic its unbelievable. Forget Tony Hawks from now on, EA has more or less raped the pants of it. But anyway, got used to the controls now, just practicing grinding. Since i can't seem to continue them for long.

So this Friday I plan to get only my second PS3 game which will serve as a "filler" till PES2008 comes out in a months time. The two games that I'm debating over are Stuntman Ignition, which comes out in the UK this Friday after a pointless delay and Heavenly Sword, which I'm told is similar to God Of War. So any opinions on the games?

I have stuntman ignition on the day it came out and it id pretty fun but might be hard in some places. so hard you might want to throw your controller against the wall. but still fun.

When does PES2008 come out? If it comes out soon, get Heavenly Sword. It's a great game but it's a little on the short side. If you are only getting it as a filler, that is. I don't mind the length of the game personally because I found the presentation of it really good but Stuntman Ignition might fit the role of "filler" title better I think. I've only played the demo but I am guessing it might have more challenges for ya.

 

You should definitely add Heavenly Sword to your collection though, if not now, later....I think it's a must have title.

Since I have not seen many games I like at the moment, I was kinda looking forward to HOME. I just read its been put back to early 2008.

 

Sony are really starting to piss me off, I see my freinds playing away on their 360's and am begining to think I made a mistake

 

I am a pretty patient person. But I have had the PS3 since launch and still only own 3 games, just because I am really not that interested in most of the current titles (except Rainbow 6)

 

Is stuntman worth a buy?

I would really give Warhawk and Heavenly Sword a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed. They are great games.....and the official release of HOME has been delayed. Sony will be doing an OPEN beta in November/December.

 

Home isn't exactly a game, you do know that right? It's going to be a community. It's basically going to be how you navigate through the PS3. They won't be forcing you to use it but still.......you will be able to open games through it, send messages to other players, add them to your friends list etc. It's going to be PS3's online service. If you already know this, sorry for restating it but it seemed to me like you were waiting for HOME as a game or something. So even if it wasn't delayed, you wouldn't exactly have a game in your hands.

 

As for Stuntman, I would download the demo to see if I like it. It's up on the network.

Yep I know Home is just a cross between Yahoo chat and Second Life, just would be nice to do somthing on my PS3 until some good games come my way.

On the PSN store its £20, which is the full game. The one in stores comes with a bluetooth headset, and comes with a box instead of a virtual version.

If you are looking for a game to keep you busy while more games come, Warhawk is the one you should get over Heavenly Sword even though I like both....but Warhawk has online multi-player.

I am Command Sergeant but I should be Sergeant.....because I have about 2340 points. Warhawk developers have fixed the stat posting issue but because of the early glitch, my rank went up more than it should have....I don't mind and hope they leave it as is now because of how I didn't rank up earlier when the glitch wasn't fixed....

I don't know about stuntman but heavenly sword is a great game. It is short but it has a great story line.

Heavenly Sword is a great game and I would personally go with that.......but Stuntman will probably last you longer.
