But now I can't shoot ANY of the SHOTGUNS at all, since I havn't played BF3 in 2+days, I can't controll the USAS anymore.

Okay so I am thinking of getting a 50$ PSN Card. I want to play Okami HD as I've never played it before. It costs 20$ I think. Any other suggestions? I was thinking Journey and Flower. But is it better to buy the Journey Collectors Edition or should I just buy Flower and Journey separately. I am not interested in FLOW. Any other games which are worth buying? Only mention quality PSN titles. Thanks!

1. Something that'll be as good or better than the HDD that originally comes with Super Slim 12 GB (something more quiet, less heat producing, faster at the same time if possible)

2. Doesn't have to be big. I just need it for games and demos.

Well that's a lie, the PS3 Does use beyond that, besides which some 5400RPM drives are faster than some 7200RPM drives and vice versa, the physical speed of the drive is not limited by PS3 (not at 7200RPM at least), the Data rate does have a limit, hence why you wouldn't bother with an SSD in a PS3 because it wouldn't make much of a difference being throttled by PS3 Hardware, at least not a cost effective difference.

 

Also the extra heat thing is pretty BS as well, honestly the heat difference is going to be so tiny that it will make no real difference,, the CPU is where heat is a big problem with the PS3. I have a 500GB 7200 RPM drive in my PS3 FAT and it has had no issues at all with heat in the two years I have owned it.

If you're worried about heat, stack a couple game cases/books/dvd cases underneath the PS3 to allow airflow underneath where all the heat builds up, this has kept my PS3 cool from day one.

 

Difference between Blue and Black? Black Is a higher performance 7200 rpm drive, Blue is a 5400RPM. The black does have one pretty cool feature, if the PS3 falls while turned on, the HDD freezes itself to prevent damage and it's got something like a 5 year warranty.

 

I would get a 7200 RPM Scorpio Black, price-wise it's only a few bucks difference and you will get slightly faster loading on everything which is good.

Also avoid the green drives.

So I wanted to know if there is any tax on buying a 20$ PSN Card from GameStop? Also, is there any tax in the PlayStation Store? I am gonna buy Okami HD which costs exactly 20$. Thanks!

I was so excited when I finally got myself a PS3 after a 4 year console hiatus - after a nasty 360 death - but now it's giving me doubts. I am completely incapable of navigating the PlayStation Store at all. No action can be done using the controller, other than manually quitting using the center button. I can still navigate the main menu but it's rather pointless if I can't use any applications in the future via the Store.

The store's fine, it's just that some people cry because load times got increased by a few seconds and suddenly, it's a piece of sh*t.

 

How often does one need to go to the store for it to become an hindrance anyway? You can check the content that's being added with the updates at PS Blog.

Well, there's certain apps and other content I'd like to download but must be accessed from the Store; and my problem wasn't with it being slow, it wasn't working at all.

 

I just got on a few moments ago and now it's working fine, though.

I have had uncharted 3 for some time, but now I have the game of the year edition. I activated the online code from the first uncharted and could play the dlc on the new disc. But after last weeks update, it says that I didn't purchase the dlc. Would it help if I entered the code from the new uncharted version? Or is there anything else I could do?

I wish a sound played when you receive playstation messages (a sound you could set to off for when you are in game)
