If anyone has a Japanese account you can download the Yakuza 3 demo from there. It's available there right now.

To make a Japanese account all you have to do is get an address from Japan and enter that in, if you don't understand Japanese, go here and it will guide you:

I bought Def Jam: ICON just for fun, because it was like 8 bucks, and I had nothing else to waste my money on.

It's pretty decent game, has it's ups and downs but I don't like how the environment moves physically around everywhere. Seems unrealistic don't you think?

It was between NBA 07, NBA Street, or Def Jam: ICON. So I think I made the right choice.

I had to move it around, but yes, I have to clean it alittle. I just love hugging the thing

I only touch my PS3 when I have to open a disc.

I always turn it on with my controller.

I just got my Blu Ray movies today. I'm pretty excited to watch them.

I had my PS3 for about 2 months now.

Okay I'm gonna ask a question that might have been already touched upon here. But I REALLY don't feel like reading through 40 pages just to get an answer. I'll keep this short though.

Whats the best model for just playing ps3 games? I ask that because thats really all I'll use it for. I don't really care about hooking it to the internet or watching dvds. I just wanna play ps3 games on my ps3 system. So which is it? The 20, 60,or the 80 gb version?

You missed the 40gb. But they all play the same just they have different size hard drives like a 20gb, 40gb, 60gb, 80gb.

In America they don't sell the 60GB anymore. But if your lucky you could get it at GameStop.

All the PS3s are for playing games. The only difference between them is the lack of GB. If you like playing PS2 games but don't have a PS2 system, then buy the 80GB. But the 40GB doesn't play PS2 games.

If I were you I would get the 80GB, but thats just my personal opinion.

Oh man, I just found a little mag about the PS3 when it came out. It's called the "PS3 Launch Guide" it tells us all about the new 20gb and 60gb PS3's. The new wireless controller. And the new games like COD3 and GH Encore 80's Edition. Good god this makes me laugh.

Yeah I know, it's cool how far we went since then.

Anyways glad to see you've managed to get your internet set up. I deleted two of my friends that I don't know, so you can add me now.

If that's your only concern then they're all really the same, so you can get the one with the smallest HD if you want. If you intend to play with more than two people, or plan on getting a mouse/keyboard, then you might want the 60 or 80GB just for the extra USB slots. Though if it's just more than two controllers you could also grab the four port charging base.

And you can also charge the controllers by plugging them into your PC. If you just want to play PS3 games, the 40GB version will be fine for ya unless you want more ports and want more space out of the box instead buying a big HDD yourself.......instructions are in manual and I've read it's easy to replace so you could get the 40GB and upgrade it.....

I thought you could just buy a external HDD for the PS3?

You can attach a external HDD to the PS3 but you can't install demos on it. PS3 also lets you add an internal HDD without a problem. Just go buy an 2.5 Sata (I think) laptop hard drive and it will work.

you'd have to be wary of the sata's rpm speed I think, I recall some users upgrading their hdd and experiencing some problems~

and a little *rumor* to justify the blu-ray packed in that ps3 (ok, maybe not justify, but at least you can sleep easier at night knowing it wasn't such a "bad idea" after all tounge.gif)

I said it before a few times, you are correct. Only guess is how large you can go and if you need to then partition it.

If you use a PC OS, can you load CD based drivers for hardware? I don't know about that but heard improved OS support in the long term plans.

My only USB camera (webcam) does not register in setup, so I cannot do a video chat and I lack a bluetooth headset but I would like to play with one at some point. Could PS3 offer Skype?!?

The European Store, apparently has "The Club" demo.

I might have to try it out before the real game comes out Feb 19.

The only reason I ask is, I am sitting there most nights streaming movies from my PC, and in top of my screen I am constantly seeing

Neo Shrina is online

Neo Shinra is offline

Neo Shrina is online

Neo Shinra is offline

Neo Shrina is online

Neo Shinra is offline

Either he has a dodgy internet connection, or he sits there switching the PS on and off all night!
