Hey guys, I have some spare cash and though about buying some PS3 exclusive games, (I mean games that I can't get on PC)

 

I've been thinking about the first Uncharted, Killzone 2 and Infamous. Uncharted looks like a must, but i'm not sure about KZ2... Is it like R2? I completed the storyline of that game one time and never played it again, pretty boring...

 

anyone has other ideas?

And how much do you think it will be?

I don't believe it will.

Um. It's already been anounced that it's coming, just haven't said a exact date. Be a bit more helpful than that anyway.

 

@Jost. Killzone 2 is more MP based, the storyline is good and fun, and you'll want to play through it again to get various trophies.

Uncharted and Infamous are my two favorite games. Plus, the second Uncharted is coming out this fall, so it's definitely worth playing. I haven't played Killzone 2, but I heard that's pretty damn good as well.

Killzone is very similiar in playing style to Battlefield: Bad Company. The aiming/movement system at least. If you've been playing alot of CoD4 or WaW you'll probably find it a bit clunky to begin with.

 

Other than that I'd say pickup MGS4 and Wipeout HD. Uncharted is ok I guess, it's one of the cheapest games you can get for the PS3.

I have it, but I haven't played the new island yet. The original version is great how it is, but some of the new stuff seems worthy of trying out. Plus, the original just dropped down in price by a lot on the PSN store. I was jealous.

I've been real bored lately and figured I'd sell some games that I don't ever touch for some cash to buy a new game. For any of the Americans who have ever sold their games at GameStop, mind calculating about how much I'd get total?

Gezim: Selling games to Gamestop always sucks. You won't get much. My gamestop is way too random in calculating their prices for that crap, so I really don't know. The newer and more popular the game, obviously, the more you get.

Yeah Operation Anchorage should've been out this month, and then rest to follow in 4-6 week intervals.

I searched 'PS3 games' on eBay just to see how much people sell them there, and it looks like I should be able to get way more on eBay, probably over 100.

I’m not sure you’d be able to even with a UK account mate. I asked if it would be possible to purchase bomber man ultra on my U.S account with a UK credit card and was told it wouldn’t work, that said the response didn’t seem 100% accurate. The game also has a discount for the nations using the euro, whether that makes any difference I dont know.

Rumor: PS3 firmware 3.0 'a completely new system' [update: Sony responds!]

 

Why can't Sony just make these things possible instead of just completely crush every rumor that people speculate. That's all they seem to do. Just look at that PlayStation Cloud feature a lot of people were looking forward to. They don't seem to give two sh*ts about their customers when it comes to making the PS3 an overall better system. We still don't have voice chat nor the ability to listen to music while gaming.

 

And instead of talking about making the PSN "better", do it now for the love of God.

The only thing they should be doing to the PSN now is lowering the damn prices of the over expensive DLC. £2 for a sackboy costume? Pretty steep, but meh.

We still don't have voice chat nor the ability to listen to music while gaming.

Not sure about the voice chat but I know you can have your own music in-game. Thing is each game developer has to develop their game to allow custom music...but most don't. So it's not Sony's fault, it's the developers. It's just like how Sony released an update that allowed in-game screenshots...but again the developers just refuse to jump on the ball. I don't think Sony should make it mandatory for developers to use these things (it would piss off developers, I'm sure) but they could offer some kind of incentive for developers to use these features. I'm not sure what kind of incentive but something. That way the developers would get something and we (the players) would get a big of something.

I believe Microsoft has a patent on the software which allows you to do such things.

no, the ps3 can do it, it's just up to the developer to let it work on thier games.

This should have been done a long time ago for the PS3. And Sony can do it, they're just slow as f*ck.

They got their hands tied, they can't help it. Hopefully they'll integrate this feature fully in a major firmware update which in my opinion is long over due.

You can add your own music to the in-game radio on burnout paradise and it works perfectly, sounds like it’s part of the game by default. Yes it would be nice to do the same for other games but at the end of the day the gameplay (which if good enough) should keep you occupied from wanting to add your own music.
