Yeah, I can't wait for GT5, Real damage too!

It's mind blowing that the PSP GT has over 800 cars. With Blu-Ray i can only imagine how many cars GT5 has.

Well, considering DLC, then "inifinte amounts" wouldnt be a bad guess!

 

 

I cant wait, damage modeling will make online GT worth playing!

Yeah, Would be playing for the rest of my life trying to get those cars!

 

It's a bit weird playing online and you just go straight through them.

Alright guys I've got a question, on my old PSN account I have all the trophies I got from when I've played through my games, if I put the game saves onto my new account with the new PSN will I have to start them again or will they carry over?

Same thing happened to me in Burnout Paradise. I had to re-collect 80 trophies or something!

I still have all of mine.

 

You only keep the ones you already had.

 

 

 

Example: Fallout 3:" Destroy all supermutant Behemoths" I had one left to kill, then I upgraded HDD, now I have to kill all of them again to get the trophy, but all other trophies I had already got are still there.

 

Just make sure to sync with server.

 

 

 

EDIT: Didnt read properly, didnt see "new PSN", sorry, but I think Tommys right.

 

 

Thats why I'm never changing my PSN id.

DC, games that support online multiplayer won't even allow you to transfer your game saves over to your new account. (At least it didn't work for me.) Let alone trophies.

Its not all online games, but mostly those that have a seperate "profile" for your save in the game, but any 'protected' saves cant be backed up or transferred over.

 

 

Trophies stay with the PSN ID, so no old trophies for a new PSN.

 

But trophies do stay if you upgrade or get a new system, as long as you use the same PSN ID.

No, I'm 99% sure you keep them, they're saved into your online profile.

Nope, trophies will remain as they are stored on a server as opposed to being linked to the game save.

Nope. The trophies will still be there because it's stored in the server.

Well I ordered a new HDD for my PS3 (500GB).

 

And after seeing Murdocs post, I'm concerned.

Yes, they are completly worth it. I loved that they added in Beach from the first killzone in and i actually forget vwhat the original southern hills is like, and the two completly new maps in the pack before are ace, get them both.

Depends on the game, some of them you may have to start the actual game over to get the unacquired trophies, although you will keep the already acquired ones.

 

Sometimes its not such a bad thing, since some trophies can be achieved earlier with some work. It is a trade-off though, I kinda screwed up my backup anyway, so maybe you'll fare better than me, just make sure to look at a few different tutorials before upgrading to avoid any unneccesary headaches.

Well the games I have that got trophy support and I've started are: LBP, Buzz Quiz TV, GTA IV, Killzone 2, Farcry 2, Fallout 3, Endwar, Dead Space, Bioshock, Infamous, Prototype and a few others I'm sure.

 

As long as I don't have to start over it will be good.

Just remember to figure out which ones can/can't be backed up.

Does anyone else find that game updates take f*cking forever to download? I'm downloading a total update for Burnout Paradise, coming in at almost 400mb, it's up to 8% and has been going for over 10 hours, ridiculous. I can't even download in the background either.

 

My connection is in perfect nick too. I'm downloading.....other things at the normal broadband speed.

Yeah I downloaded a update for Buzz Quiz TV the other day it took about 20 minutes to dload a 400mb file. While not as slow as you, I reckon I could dload that at like 10 minutes on my computer.

Yeah I agree with you. I don't know why Sony don't implement that it would make stuff like that much easier.

Anyone have any experience on 'Game Sharing'?

 

My friend let me download the WaW Map pack 2 and i downloaded it and installed it on my PSN account. But when i go onto WaW on my PSN it says i don't have the map pack installed same for the CoD4 map pack.

 

 

Anyone have any solutions? Would be extremely helpful, So i don't have to download again.

I always thought map packs were attached to a specific game/PSN. For the sole reason of stopping people like you. It sucks.

Asimov: It's region Locked, My friends is BLES00354 and mine is the same.

Only the big games like Warhawk are locked from game sharing, there sorta like Steam Vouchers really, Share them with 4 other friends.

Speaking of that i may of found the problem, I think my friend forgot to Activate his PS3 for game sharing.

 

 

It happened to me when i tried to download my CoD map pack for my new account. But now i hope it shall work.

 

 

I was about to buy it anyways but my friend said he'd give me a download of his. I've bought all the other ones. Even that rip-off of a CoD4 map pack.

I believe that, unless both participants actually own a license to use the content that is being shared, it is a form of Copyright Infringement.

Basically, the small map packs you can share with 4 of your friends, Who can download a copy of them i think.

But the big games like GT5:P and Warhawk, You cant share them.

 

 

 

Say i bought KZ2 maps, And my friend wanted them, but had no money, I could let him have a download which takes up a slot out of the 4.

Then if he doesn't want them anymore he deactivates his PS3.

 

Anyone ever use Steam Codes? Exactly like them.
