I have PS3, but one of my favourite games are Warriors. So can Warriors game from PS2, work on PS3. Please could someone tell me.

Can someone help me please. Ever since I've downloaded the new update for the PS3 i can't sign in to my account because it can't find the IP address, yet my connection is still good enough to download music ad access the internet etc. Can someone help me please?

I had the same problem as you. But when I came back home, it worked.

 

Try restarting your ps3, try disconnecting the internet connection at home, or disconnect it from the ps3.

I found Scarface for the PS2 yesterday night and popped it in the PS3 for a go.

God it was awful it was like 1FPS in the city and 5 in the Caravan sites. It ran perfectly on the PS2 so what's with that?

Some games aren't very compatible with the emulator and have problems. No idea whether they are still updating the emulator or not... most probably the latter. Luckily all but one of the games I have played are playable apart from a few minor bugs in some games.

Yes it is, most companies will do it automatically for you, however there might be some fairly large fees, charges and poor conversion rates.

Speaking about PSN money/credit cards/virtual credit card, I managed to make a US PSN account. Now, I have my own credit card. I can't add the info to the ps3 billing system until I make a virtual credit card. Since my credit card isn't from a US bank, I need to make a virtual credit card as mentioned in the last sentence.

 

Will entropay work?

 

If it does, can you give me an explanation on how to use the credit card(I know how to register etc), but the address 1 , 2 and 3 are pain in the ass.

Well I can only remember the last time. It was just sat on the normal screen for a while. I was browsing here and heard it beep twice, and then it restarted..

While the system is saving something you shouldn't turn it off (basically if it is accessing the HDD - the hdd indicator light is flashing.) The system normally makes two beeps when that happens. My system has done that and nothing bad has happened to it yet. My last one, the one that died, also did it but it lasted a while after that. I would also use my last system like everyday....that was used by me a lot.

 

If it is just randomly doing that for no reason (say you haven't been playing a game or doing anything that requires HDD access, you might want to get it replaced. The PS3 is pretty reliable but it is not indestructible so you still gotta be careful.

I have a problem here and possibly with my PS3, I can't f*cking go online on GTA IV and Midnight Club LA....

 

When I go to Multiplayer, it says "Connecting To Game Provider..." It kept saying that like a few hours later. My other friends can go but I can't...

 

Midnight Club LA can't go online because when I select quick cruise or standard match or any of the selection on the online menu it will say "You Must Signed In Into A PlaystationNetwork Account to access game play feature" WTF? I'm already signed In..!!!

I've never turned off my PS3 while it is saving or installing something. Since I posted though, the console hasn't done it, so I will leave it at that until it does it again.

 

Is there a way so that games don't have to be installed to the console? I'm ment to have an 80Gig, but last I checked a week ago, I had 60 out of 74Gig left

Not long ago I got the damn "...less than 10mb left on the HDD" message, lol. Spring cleaning ensued, but I still ended up buying a 500gb, all of those downloaded games, and installs and saves add up after awhile.

 

Just remember, HDD numbers always mean, "just about #gb"

I would like to see a feature that lets you know how long is left to go before a controller is fully charged i was downloading a patch for bioshock last night and it gave an estimated time as to how long it would take (it took 15 minutes) i'd like to see that included for charging a controller, i would also like to be able to charge the controller without the PS3 being on.

I have a 60GB with 10 GB left i'm going to need to get a HDD again.

 

I heard some company found out how to compress the files on a Blu-Ray so we didn't have to install. IMO 60/80GB a'int enough definitely not the 40GB.

Well I got my PS3 back for the third time from Sony. I made my PSN again and went into the store to download some of the stuff that I had already bought. I get message saying that my account is activated on 5 other sysyems and that I can't proceed with the download. I never gave my account information out to anyone so I'm thinking WTF. I called up Sony and after waiting for about 8 minutes for a live customer support person I explained the situation to him. He tells me that my best bet would be to delete my all of my billing information and create a new PSN account. I told him no problem and then I asked him if all of my bought items could be transfered to the other account that I have to make, or could the total funds be added to the new account. Something like a refund. He tells me that nothing can be done about those. So now my PSN account on 5 other systems, and at least $180 wasted.

 

I don't think I've ever been this pissed off at Sony in my life.

That guy is a jackass. There is a specialist number you can call. I don't remember it, but I had to do this. They will deactivate all the other PS3s and you can use the same username and don't have to delete anything.

I want to see the in-game music player moved onto the hold-PS button screen, cross-game voice chat, notifications for when a controller finishes charging, and for them to move that dumbass controller battery indicator that always goes over the clock whenever you go into the in-game XMB. It only appears for about 2 seconds, but why can't it just be moved to the left?

 

And it should show your trophy level in the Trophy Collection screen.

At the recording, hit 7, this will bring you to an actual human, then before they say anything, tell them that you want to talk to a supervisor, if they ask "why?" DONT ANSWER, just say "Just let me talk to a supervisor". The next person you talk to should actually know what the hell you are talking about and will help you.

The idiots in normal customer support will consistently tell you "Theres nothing we can do" or they will read support help straight from the f*cking website, idiots.

 

Basically, the only real customer support is the "supervisors" a.k.a. "Nerds"
