Talking about Home, I got 3 PS accounts (UK, USA & Japan) pretty pissed off I needed to install Home on all three accounts, and also annoying annot use clothes I bought from the UK Home on the USA

Aren't updates mandatory? If an update screws up a few consoles, Sony usually makes it optional until they fix the problem. So if you haven't updated, you haven't lost access to the store or online.

Yeah, I am now just concerned with trophies. Before I get rid of Far Cry 2, I'm going to try to milk it out of the easy trophies. And then, I'm going to beat Call of Duty: WAW on veteran. SO HARD! And as for LittleBigPlanet, I need to make a good level. And I'll get to GTA IV one day.

Firmware 2.7 rumours from PSU. They're taken from a guy at a forum claiming to be working at Sony, so there is a very high possibility they aren't true, but all of them are awesome anyway, and if they are fake then Sony should implement them (But the in-game Internet Browser seems highly unlikely).

 

 

 

Friends List:

- Voice Messaging is now available as an alternative to text after selecting a user on the friends list. Voice message recordings are capped at 30 seconds.

- Home Integration: Saved PlayStation Home avatar photos can be selected as photo ID for Gamer Card/Friends List.

- Trophy number and Gamer Level are listed under Friend names for quick reference.

 

Gamer Card & Trophies:

- Gamer Card layout has been changed to more closely resemble the PlayStation Store aesthetic.

- Past Trophy information can be viewed in detail by selecting "Recent Trophy History" option.

- Newly acquired trophies auto-sync in the background

- Server infrastructure for Trophies has been optimized. Resulting in faster retrieval time for Gamer Card and Trophy information.

 

In-Game XMB:

- Loading time for In-Game XMB has been drastically reduced, resulting in a more seamless in-game experience.

- "Theme settings" options while in-game is now available, allowing custom themes to be applied to the In-Game XMB.

- Internet Browser can now be accessed while in-game.

- Voice messaging and voice chat options can be used while in-game.

- Options that cannot be used in the XMB during game sessions are grayed out (but still selectable) to eliminate user accessibility confusion.

i managed to get 100% on COD WAW. I did the veteran trophies last all i can say is good luck, the last 3 levels are a pain! Especially Blowtorch and Corkscrew i think that took me like 2 hours to complete..

I don't see why a lot of options are inaccessible in-game. You should be able to do simple things like network settings but you can't.

I've got this problem aswel. It's because of your NAT Type its really complicated to fix, i've seen loads of tutorials but they look confusing as hell.

No security will just get you freeloaders connecting to your router & probably slow down your connection.

I'm too lazy to read back and check if you mentioned it or not, but if you have multiple devices on your network I'd see about using the router to put the PS3 in the DMZ before I'd disable security for the whole network.

Some great new Demo's have been released in the PS Store, Including Watchmen trial & Wrestlemania. Not a fan of Wrestling bug the game will be fun. Watchmen though i can't wait to see that in the Cinemas.

The watchmen game is crap, don't even bother with it, the only good part are the graphics.

 

Haven't tried the Wanted demo, haven't really followed the game though, i'll most likely give that a try.

The watchmen game is crap, don't even bother with it, the only good part are the graphics.

 

Haven't tried the Wanted demo, haven't really followed the game though, i'll most likely give that a try.

Thought it sounded too good to be true.

 

Wanted looks like an assasins matrix game, looks pretty cool.

wow that looks good, looks like burnout and stuntman put together. Hopefully its a hit and not a disappointment
