so did anyone else get kinda bored with LBP or was it just me? i got Fallout 3 and have been raping that lately 35hrs and counting.

I got bored of it too. All I did was put rockets on things.

Yeah the store updates every Thursday. So that little ticker changes every Thursday to reflect that.

Uncharted Two on the cover of EDGE, that issue has a story on the user side of LBP and the online controversy, I didn't read it yet and because of the graphics I have little interest in the game, but the buzz is overwhelming for it.

 

I wonder if you people recall when I posted about EA's Construction set software of the 1980s? Remember Lode Runner from Broderbund? That has a total CREATE YOUR OWN level mechanism in it and it was a rather brave new concept that was really fun.

The Ethernet is controlled in the main menu, Sony has connection help on their site, check that reference out. Seems you are asking about adapters in terms of the two discrete Online methods, correct?? WiFi is Wireless "radio", the hardware requires no hands-on, it's all internal which is why the PSP works with it so handily. Ethernet means you are using the cabled method, much more direct and less prone to signal issues.

 

Using Wifi built in I could get signals but they dropped off easily. (when I had an unlocked source signal).

My PS3 is off line, needing repair. Total bummage.

so how can i hook up a router to the modem and ps3?.. thats where im lost at

It could be your router. I used to have the same problem as you until I bought an N+ 300 Mbps router.

That's because you're so far away from the router wirelessly. Try getting a long ass ethernet cable.

You can create a European account on your playstation and download it from the PS store on that account free.

You could try making a little satellite dish for your router, get some alfoil and mould a few layers into a disc shape that points through the house as best you can at you PS3, it should boost the connection. I'm not sure if it will be enough considering it's only at 10%. Still worth a try.

 

 

edit - It obvious but I forgot to say, poke the broadcasting antennas through the middle, if you have laptops or other wireless devices behind the dishes they will probably lose connection.

Okay, remember when Rockstar said they're working on something 'big' and exclusive to PS3 because the game will take advantage of PS3's power? Rumors were that the new game would be Red Dead Revolver 2. But now we know that RDR2 is for 360 as-well.

 

So that means we're now clueless as to what this new game will be! Any thoughts?

I can't see the picture that the link is supposed to show, but as for your second question, you go to settings, accessory settings, then voice changer and make it higher pitched or lower pitched. Although, I am not sure if it is funny, so much a annoying. It just makes you hard to understand and get insulted by people. Or at least, thats what I do when I hear someone using the voice changer

What? Every time that i have tried to sign in today it says something like 'PSN is down for maintence'.

 

EDIT: After you said you could sign in i tried logging in a few more times and it finally allowed me on, but when i try to go on IV's multiplayer it jsut says i cant connect to game provider? f*cking thing.
