it's supposed to be November 19th, i doubt it will happen though.

sony should make all games have trophies like the 360 because most games are multi-platformers how much harder could it be to add it to the ps3 version, it should start being that way IMO.

Sony are making it Mandatory in 2009 for games to have Trophies on the PS3.

 

I can't remember where I read this at but for anyone that gets the Nov. Qore episode will get an invite to the Home beta.

Of course they will make you pay, I am fairly sure that was mentioned in the various articles about it, I honestly haven't seen any since it was first announced though so could of changed. Doubt it though.

I've been having the same problems. Maybe its just a glitch, but hopefully they fix it soon. Anyone else experienced this?

It has been said by loads of people that having a wired connection is better, for obvious reasons, but having a wireless can be just as good with a decent router and a decent internet connection.

Wired is better, I have to connect mine via Ineternet connection sharing on my PC and I still get 3 bars on CoD4

All of the PS3's have a WiFi thingy built in, no need to worry about that.

Just bought a PS3, finally felt it was at a price that was justified. Now I just need to wait for the cable I've ordered so I can actually use it in HD, getting a HDMI to DVI cable and hooking it up to my 22" PC monitor. So its sitting on my desk looking pretty.........dusty! Yeah its already got some dust and its been in my house only a matter of 18 hours!

I find it kind of funny how people used to say PS3 has no good games. Though you look at our increasing library of games and you have exclusive games like Resistance 2 and Little Big Planet which both scored a score of 9.5 from IGN. And then you see a 360 exclusive, Fable II which got a score of 8.8. I remember seeing people say, "We'll see who has the last laugh.".

 

Not being a cock or anything, just speaking the truth. I have nothing against 360.

 

And then of course you got games that are for both consoles like Far Cry, Fallout, ect.

 

Anyways, I can't f*cking wait for God of War 3. My cousin is dying for that game. And so I am. Killzone 2 looks very impressive and seeing how much time and effort they have put into it, it definitely doesn't seem like it's going to be a disappointment.

Its the latest 80GB model with the Dualshock 3, got it for $688 including the two games. The console by itself usually goes for $699 here so its a pretty good deal I think. Both games would of set me back $100 extra even at the Platinum price.

It was defiantly true in the beginning though, and the xbox is by far the more economical choice if you are short on cash. It's less than half the cost of the PS3.

 

Still, with all the PS3 exclusives now being released as

GTAfreak said, it is becoming a better option to get the PS3. And you get a Blu-ray player thrown in the bag, awesome.

 

In the next few weeks I'll be upgrading from my current internet plan of a mere 1.4mb/s connection and 10Gb downloads a month to a 24mb/s connection with 200Gb downloads per month. I'll finally be able to play IV and CoD online properly..amongst other large downloads
