It took me about 4 hrs to download.

Yea, took about 6 for me. Was pretty ridiculous but the beta is pretty damn fun!

 

So LBP is available now I'm hearing. Anyone picked it up?

So, does anyone who has these games know, how much MB's are the 1.10 and 1.50 updates for Assassins Creed and Burnout Paradise.

Just want to plan out the download days for these updates.

I also got Condemned 2 today, all 3 are very good to excellent games

Anyway, just played Resistance 2.... and it's AMAZING! This game is absolutly a must get. Co-op is so much fun and DM with 60 players is absolutly lagless! I love the map San Francisco, with the amazing graphics and those huge space ships all over!

 

I rate this game with a 10/10!

Gamestop has it available for everyone who preordered it. I only owe about $10 more on my preorder, but I don't get paid until Friday. Sucks ass.

Eh...CoD4...I played the balls off of that game, and still play when I am over my buddys place a block away. I have no interest in playing it for a long while. If I do, a trip to my buddies or a rent will do. And when it comes to racing, I kinda grew up on Gran Turismo. While I don't mind a racing games with big stories with people, people like problems, and big backstories in them, I am kinda looking for a good game that is just a good sim. Think Forza or Gran Turismo style.

 

 

Honestly, what I am looking for is console exclusive games. I played the piss out of almost every 360 game because, when I had my Xbox, I was an employee of GameStop (even though I work for comcast and havent worked a legit shift in almost 5 months). I was constantly taking out games that even slightly tickled my curiosity. So basically, I have been missing out on all the PS3 exclusive games.

Other than MGS4 I'd look about getting Resistance 2 on Nov. 4. I'm in the beta and so far its amazing. I don't know how you feel about survival-horror games, but I highly recommend downloading Siren: Blood Curse. Check out a couple videos to see if you'd be into it.

The R2 Beta sucked balls in my opinion. The guns are HORRIBLE. And the gameplay well... just sucks.

 

Maybe when the real game comes out, story-mode might be a little better.

 

I'm not impressed whatsoever.

i did that with Uncharted, but i ended up enjoying the game as well, it's very fun, with a decent story.

I haven't played either 1 or 2, but from the screenshots and videos i've seen, those two aspects need to be updated.

I was going to pick that up yesterday, but Blockbuster couldn't find it. They had the f*cking case sitting right on the shelf in front of me, but apparently they keep the actual discs in little plastic sleeves all grouped together in a giant box, and they had "misplaced it." Unorganized bastards. But I picked up Dark Sector for $9.99 instead. I wasn't expecting much (well, anything) at that price but the game is actually pretty decent and the graphics are some of the best I have seen.

I read some news today that if you dowload stuff from ps store and don't do background download it can be quicker like twice as quick and it installs itself that's something I never knew before and I bet most of you never knew.

I'm having a blast with the 60 player matches. Too much fun, and the co-op is pretty badass to. The game is definitely more fun than I had expected. I didn't see 60 players working out, but it's pretty damn smooth.

 

I'll be picking up LBP sometime this week, can't wait for that! I've watched a few different reviews for it, and it's getting pretty damn good feedback. Hopefully it turns out alright.

I'm loving the Beta, but i got Far Cry 2 the day after i downloaded it, so i haven't played it much, just enough to get to Level 3 on the Marksman and Soldier class and level 4 on the Medic.

 

The 60 player works great as well, i played a few Competitive games, and i really like having the large amount of players, as you know the map won't be empty then.

I left a mini-review for it in the Far Cry 2 topic, it's only for where i was up to in the game at the time, as i am quite a bit further, if you want a summary though, get it, the Single Player is great, and i'm getting into the MP a little bit, very enjoyable.
