Got mine about an Hour ago, wouldn't let me download the thing, some error, luckily, i was signed up on the Resistance forum, so i PMed a guy who works at Insomniac and they should sort it out.

I got it earlier today, finished downloading. But I can't go to online matches.

 

There's always a Connection error or No Games Found screen, and I'm logged in to PSN. Do I have to pass the missions in the demo to go online?

The latest Rockstar Social Club email has finally given us an indication of when we can see the Grand Theft Auto IV Trophy patch. We've known what the Trophies are for a little while now, but we were never quite sure when they'd be coming. Thankfully, we now have a date and best of all, it's soon. You'll be happily traversing Liberty City again (but this time for fun and profit) on Monday the 27th of October. That's only days away. So dust off your copy and have it ready and waiting. We'll be sure to tell you once the patch is live.

Finally some official news!

 

Can't wait, i need a reason to start the game again, i might delete my Current save and just use one this tie, instead of having 3 near identical ones.

so today i got my MS out of my room again , and wanted to go online but i had to DL an update.

but it takes stunning ages!

and when it's like 50% my PSN account logs out....ffs , any ideas?

and could i DL the update via Internet or something?

I know im late , just wanted to ask tounge.gif

You can only get game patches via the actual game, so you will have to just get that way, it takes ages for me to ndownload patches sometimes, try it again and it might be a bit quicker and not sign you out.

Uncharted is supposed to be good and so is COD:4. Both of them are fairly priced and should serve you the replay value you seek.

I would seriously Recommend CoD4, i've had it since they released it last year in November, and i'm still playing, though Uncharted is good and from the Bioshock demo, it seems really cool.

 

Infact, download the Demo for Uncharted and Bioshock, then you can see which one you prefer if you're going for either one of the two.

As AbSoLuTiOn said, I'm pretty sure that you can only download that the one way. That's also the single slowest download I've ever experienced on the PS3. Whenever I've downloaded updates for Motorstorm I've been limited not by my connection speed, but by the server(s) it's hosted on. Motorstorm updates have taken me anywhere from 45 minutes to almost two hours, and nothing else has taken me anywhere near as long. It doesn't seem to matter what time of day you try either, I don't think it's a matter of traffic, it just seems like they didn't give their updates enough pipe.

 

Under game data utility in the XMB it says "Motorstorm Update 3.1" is 233MB, but I have no idea if that is the size of the download itself.

 

As for the update failing on you, the only thing I could think to try would be deleting any Motorstorm data you have under "game data utility" (NOT "saved data utility"), and trying again. I heard that helped some people that had trouble with the updates.

Took me about 3 Hours, but i have a bad connection, did speed up for the last few percent though.

 

It's totally worth it, i can't get enough of it, though, Ranked Competitive doesn't seem to work at the moment, only Co-Op Ranked does.

I needed to create a New Zeland account and download it from there. But I think you can use it on your american acount later. 3 hours 30 min 51% still. I have 6Mbps connection, this is like downloading 5kb/s.
