Do you think GTA 5 on PC will need ENB mods?

Personally, from the (next-gen & PC) trailers I saw, there's NO need for ENB graphical enhacement. The game already looks perfect for me.

Obviously it's not needed i mean the game is mind blowing as it is,but if it were to come and make the game look even better than it already is,absolutely ... why not.an add on to V's epicness.

and im not talking about those sh*tty enb's that you guys see on most of GTA's,i personally had a pretty cool one on IV,which really helped out playing that awful port piece of sh*t.after all this is not IV.

I think we've come to a point where there's no need for ENB anymore. I mean yeah ... It's good for DX9 games but what can it really add to a DX11 game ? Mirror-like cars and color correction...

If ENB's are sensible additions and modders care for those whose PC's are less than optimal, then great, yeah, let me at 'em.

 

It's when the ENB's are just for the 1%er's and their uber-rigs that I hate them. I'm happy with 1080p and my R9 270X Toxic, I don't need 4K and stupid levels of detail, just a game that looks great, runs smooth and doesn't have specs that make the U.S.S. Enterprises' computer blush (Farcry 4 anyone?)....

You're watching on a crappy-quality video of a crappy-quality stream. But everyone can easily distinguish PS4 and PS3 version of V, even from crap videos. You seriously need your eyes checked.

 

OT: No. I like GTA graphics just the way it is. I don't use IV ENB's, kills the LC atmosphere. Timecyc, however...

Not at all. The visuals are already perfect as is. The art direction is superb. It just cannot be touched.

Probably the most thing I'd to to GTA graphics are using modded timecycles. That is, if the timecyc suits the general atmosphere and vibe of the game.

I think SweetFX would suffice, it has made games that looked like crap look really good.

I have never used any ENB's or IceEnhancers in my copy of GTA IV, as a result I would not know if I will use one/one is needed. Instead I have been using modded 'timecyc.dat's in my game. I'm still on the fence as they say.

I'm using SweetFX myself! WAY better than anything ENB could ever deliver! But the most important it can sharpen the image drastically, making it much more vibrant and live and almost eliminate any blur completely! Something, that ENB never does good...Its quite opposite it tends to focus on bluring the image as a trade of for eliminating jaggies...

Yup. ENB is bringing DX11 effects to DX9. So it wouldn't be needed for a DX11 game.

An ENB mod will do good. Because, by default, the graphics of GTA 5 is cartoonish. ENB mod might bring a touch of realism to Los Santos.

Pifffffffffffffff I never understood why you and others a like hate on ENB for,does it even make sense that you hate on something better and want the worse ? or is it the fact that ENB makes Rockstar look bad ? (this is where you jump in as always and and start licking them up) or is it a matter of hardware ? or having a hard time figuring out how to use it ? which one is it ? all you guys do is hate on it without even bothering to say why,pretty obvious why.

I'm totally against IV ENB. ENB completely kills IV atmosphere. It's no longer Vlad insulting yokels and being a fat Russian asswipe, Roman

ENB (or any graphical mod) most certainly wouldn't be needed to appreciate the game's graphics, but anything that adds options for the user to customize their experience is welcome in my book.

Well i kinda agree! There's definitely this kind of mystical charm about graphical imperfection! I dunno what it has to do with...I guess real life just can't be adjusted to be either too vibrant or too blurry! LOL
