I have never been one to pick on lower levels unless provoked first. Its weak IMO. If you want to show off how good you are pick on someone your own size. Go toe to toe with someone with a similar arsenal and skill level. Killing someone who has a pistol and next to no health proves nothing except that you are a bully.

 

Honestly, I care more about the people who will be trolled on PS3/360 by those who have transferred to PS4/Xbone once they effectively have a throw away account (not in terms of cheating but not caring about Bad-sport and money) on their respective systems.

 

This a very interesting point. I doubt I will go back to my 360 character but you know there will be others who are willing just to go around spending millions on sticky's, bounties and whatever else there is just to annoy others. Sounds like previous gen will be fun for a while.

Idk dude. I'm somewhat of a GTA multiplayer vet (since multiplayer on LCS on PSP was an actual thing lol), and I've always either helped "newbs" (lvl 1 - 40) on V or just let them be about their business. When some hacker gave me a large some of money at some point before 1.16, I would buy newbies cars and weapons just because I thought it was the right thing to do....

I like bigger game if I'm gonna troll someone (lvl 150+). I think a lot of other people have the same mentality. Once I hit lvl 100 for the first time, I noticed i was hunted by players both low and high in level. I just hope I can enjoy the first couple of months on XBO before the cheaters learn to break through XBO's anti-hack protection.

Different strokes for different folks. I usually only shoot when shot at. Mostly I'll try to outrun...but if they really want a fight...I'll turn around.

im creating a 2nd character so I'll be one of these so called "helpless noobs" making people trying to troll low levels reconsider. Trying to prey on the weak is lame and I cant wait to hear the dam trollers and griefers whine about getting their asses handed to them

In most games yes, but high levels get too much of an advantage in GTAO for that to be true. If you think about it higher levels have more health, better Armour, better weapons, better handling for vehicles they even aim better. I'm fine with some of that I just think it was a mistake to make the main aspects of the game something that gets easier as you level up, everyone should be on equal footing when it comes to health, driving and shooting.

 

Could you imagine playing a FPS where your recoil control increases as you level up ontop of unlocking better weapons? Sounds ridiculous right?

My primary female Asian character is Bad Sport for 256 days. I will "test" import an another Bad Sport character on an second account, then I will see if the Bad Sport status does transfer or if the character is forgiven on Xbox One. If the Bad Sport status does transfer then I will not import my primary character, and I will create new one instead.

 

I have spawn killed many rank 400 players with low level characters (less than rank 20). No problem to do that with the jet, they will be forced into passive mode and they eventually quit. Below is some of my low rank characters that I have used to rape players with.

Passive mode in free roaming being careful if someone tries to run you over, missions only until you reach level 120 and you're rich enough, problem solved.

Tell them to be in passive mode all the time in free roaming (it's free) and being aware of their surrounding to avoid that someone run them over.

I'm a level 160+. I'm not complaining. I will step up to anyone who wants a bit of action regardless of rank. What I won't do is go out of my way to find the weakest player on the map and start something. There is no challenge in that. If you want to take the easy route and pick on lower rank players to boost your ego, go for your life. Its still weak though.

 

Also don't we also want to increase the player base? Having a high level own you over and over again while you are a low rank doesn't exactly entice most people to keep playing.

you can have all the skill in the world but that wont save you from your tires being popped and being gunned down from only having a pistol.

yeah it'll be pretty bad. When I was new I did get picked on by higher levels, but they still only had an assault rifle or SMG and that didn't last long (though I lost my dominator which I spent all my money on...). Now though, people will come in with gigantic arsenals. Free aim will help a little though since they can't lock on to you from a long range with MGs and other long range weapons.

But they can still use tanks/jets/helicopters/put sticky bombs on your vehicles, throw grenades, snipe you, run you over, etc.

 

If you don't want to use passive mode in free roaming, be unpredictable and avoid other players.

 

And steal jets and get paybacks.

Or people could do what I do and show them the ropes. Ive helped heaps out that way. Some are now high level players on my PSN friends list. Ive only had one ever who turned on me lol. But instead of griefing them back I just play cat and mouse with them which was actually fun and after a while they fired through a friend request.
