So, they held them back for new gen. Pretty much what we already knew. Props to them for committing to old gen versions though, I was beginning to think they were going to be new gen exclusive.

They said they will be the first update on next next gen, well thats Monday right? November 18th it has to be, or the week after

 

I doubt they'd release an update so soon after launch. I think it was at least a month after GTAO went live before we got the Beach Bum Update. My guess is it will be January - Christmas if we're lucky.

Not this Update after it

The monday Update is just for ps4/xbone for fixes etc.

i think it comes end november/early December

Rockstar has announced that heists will be coming in the next update to GTA: Online. This update will be made soon after the release of GTA V on PS4 & Xbox One.

Still waiting a year later 😉

But I don't care about heists anymore. I'm far more enthusiastic about the next-gen version.

I love how they added Cargobob in the top 5 owned helis but to obtain it you had to use glitch.. lol

Rockstar has announced that heists will be coming in the next update to GTA: Online. This update will be made soon after the release of GTA V on PS4 & Xbox One.

 

In addition, Heists are confirmed to be coming to PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4 and likely PC.

There will be a day one update for xbox one and ps4.....you've taken their post out of context. It will be shortly after the launch of xbox one and ps4 versions.

I don't remember them saying anything about PS4/Xbox One versions...

This, and at the very least, R* owes their gaming community an honest explanation as to why heists were promised but never released for more than a year.

 

I am waiting for the PC release but am playing on Xbox 360 until then. Heists will give the PC people something to keep them playing until the PC release.

 

Same here; just using a PS3 I bought back in October until then. :)

Rockstar already stated that new gen players will need to install day one update in order to play Online.

 

I'd temper my expectations for heists, though. It is possible that they'll just be glorified missions. InB4 all the heist disappointment threads.

R* have announced heist in atleast 3 occasions, all of them resulted in further delay...

 

 

i wont believe this til the day i turn on the game, prompt me to download patch 1.XX and when i launch gtao heist are there.

People act like Rockstar has always given concrete releases for heists or something.

They haven't, the have all be vague estimates at worst and time frames at best.

This is the first time they've concretely have said "next update will be heists"
