Returning Player Bonuses Character ONLY?

I purchased GTA V on old gen and played it for about 3 months until I sold my 360 to buy an xbox one. My old character was placed in a modded lobby and obtained a obseen amount of money and RP. I am a bit OCD and like to earn everything in the game legit. I know there are numerous bonuses coming out for returning players, but does anyone know if you can create a new player (on the same rockstar social club account) on next gen (when it releases) and have that player get all the bonuses. Or are the bonuses only able to go to the player you created and played with on old gen.

From what I understand, as long as that new character exists on ps3/360 and is linked to Social Club, the bonuses come with the transfer. If you start anew on next gen, then no, you don't get the transfer bonuses.

I'm imagining it might be social club account linked, so you'll still get the returning content if you delete a character and make a new one..

 

Could be wrong though but that's probably the more sensible approach..

I would hope that they would make it social club related. I unfortunately don't have a 360 to create a new character prior to the release of next gen so only time will tell. In order for R* to do this the correct way it needs to be linked to social club and not to characters!
