What places are you most looking forward to seeing in the new gen vers

Recommended Posts

The other day I was doing perhaps my final playthrough of the 360 version. When I switched to Trevor, I was actually greeted to a switch cutscene that I hadn't seen before. He was at that mansion in the Tongva Hills, and he was attempting to drown someone in a fountain. After this, I started to walk through the vineyards down the hill, and noticed how poor the textures of the vegetation looked, especially compared to how it looked in the first trailer. Then I thought about how much better this area would look in the new gen version.

Have you had any moments like this? Where you visit a certain place or area and think to yourself "I'm excited to see what the next gen version of this will be like!"

I want to experience something I haven't before. Just driving around at night up north. Like the woman in red dead crying over her man, then shooting herself in the head.

Vinewood boulevard, Raton Canyon, Underwater ufo, The road which goes past Zancudo to Desert(Route 68?).

Driving a boat in the Alamo sea while it's a storm, and of course Vanilla unicorn.

North Yankton.

I really wish there was a DLC that took place in north yankton. Sure it's low rez outside of the areas the player is confined to on the missions, but if they fixed it up, and made it it's own map, or DLC about Trevor and Mike's past, it would be amazing.

RDR was such a beautiful game and that was one of many reasons why. There were so many random events and encounters that sometimes you'd have to actually go up to it and investigate before you realize which event you're actually witnessing. Even better is that certain encounters resembled other ones but with a twist, and you had to figure out quick if someone was going to kill you or if they were innocent.

I'm glad that V included events, at least it adds something to the world, but I do wish they were random. I mean, how often can we chase down robbers at the same location before it gets boring? Not quite as entertaining as "Help! He took my horse!"

I do like the armored cars though. No one needs the money by the time the story is over, but it can make for a fun mini-heist if you really get into it.

Theres a little cove right up in the top right corner of the map that reminds me of nz. Gona take a spin up there and hopfully kick someones dog and piss them off so we can have a 1st person fist fight haha yip just like home

I want to go to the top of Mount Chiliad, and look down and see how much of a difference there is. Also getting up there should be a lot more fun now, and the environment should look amazing.

If I were getting the new gen version the place I would be most interested in seeing is the Paleto forest and Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness. They're closely related and that entire area should be forested now. If they didn't improve on the forests it would be disappointing because the capabilities are definitely there. There's a really nice (but tiny) area of dense trees in the raton canyon along the creek. If they made a large forest exactly like that, it would feel like a real forest or woodland.

Gnocchi Flip Flops

It's not a place, more so an interior. I want to see the inside of a Phoenix with the custom targa top sunroof. I'm sure I'm going to love that interior, even more so if I can change the color of it to red (I f*cking hope we can).

I'm probably going to re-create my first exploration of the map. On my very first playthrough as Michael, It suddenly dawned on me that the entire map was unlocked from the start. My first time venturing out of the city was an epic boat tour.

I left the Vespucci marina before sunrise, stole a Squalo, and tuned the radio to Los Santos Rock Radio. I headed north past the lights of Del Perro Pier, and continued up the coast until the sun rose on Fort Zacundo. I cruised through Lago Zacundo in the early morning light, and up the Zacundo River to the Alamo Sea. Rather than visiting Sandy Shores, I headed down Raton Canyon, navigating Cassidy Creek's rapids before returning to the ocean. Next, I continued north towards Paleto Bay and Propicio Beach, spending the noon hour exploring the small rocky islands and blue-green water as Mount Chiliad loomed above. I spent the rest of the afternoon sailing all the way around the coast, south past the lighthouse, through Cape Catfish and the power station, all the way back to Los Santos. By the time I neared the port terminal, the sun was setting. Night fell over the airport as airliners' lights shone overhead, and I rolled into the marina again in the dark. As I parked up at the dock, Kenny Loggins was repeating the same song that had been playing when I left.

One in-game daytime and the entire LSRR playlist. Yep, I'm going to do that again.

That's like 40 minutes! Sounds pretty fun though, when I played online my friends and I would often go sailing. It was calm.
