what was the most embarrasing thing you did by accident in gta 5?

Nothing ever works right the moment you're trying to prove something, haha.

This is totally true. No matter how good you are or how awesome you play when youre alone. When your buds come over it all goes to crap. Only way out is to record all your awesome escapades so you have proof youre not a n00b-style player

I myself never had any "accidents", while playing last gen GTAV simply because i never bought it on the first place, but i've heard from my fiend he ran into situation, when his mother entered the room and asked what game is this it impressed her, because it looked so realistic, she were saying things like "Games these days almost look like real life" and blah blah blah until he ran into the scene, where dude f*cked those bitch at the backyard (everyone should know what i'm talking about), he didn't expect that too, because he didn't know the game that well and each step he made, he didn't know what's coming! I remember what he describe he looked like trying to explain that to his mother...

Most embarrassing thing I did was buy a ps3 for the beta version just for cockstar to f*ck me.

At least some people find strength to admit it...

Lethal Vaccine

Today, while standing on top of the "I" in Vinewood in Vinewood Hills doing Letter Scraps, Franklin decided to jump off head first instead of climb down the ladder. WASTED. Had to start all over. Later on, I got to 25/50 Letter Scraps AGAIN. Flew my Skylift back to Franklin's safehouse to save and landed it near his house on a hill. I guess I didn't land it perfect enough, thus it started spinning out of control and blew up WHEN I WAS ALREADY OUT OF THE SKYLIFT ON THE GROUND, but somehow it blew me up. WASTED. Had to start over yet again.

.....................................Still, later on that day, I got to 44/50 Letter Scraps. Parked the Skylift, got back into it, somehow was rubbing against something, started to smoke, then blew up while I was inside of it. WASTED. Had to start over from 25/50.

I had 6 f*cking left and now I am back to 25 left.

Moral of the story is collectables suck and they shouldn't even be in a GTA game. All they do is waste my time and get me very angry.

My friend I had over was was trying to get the hang of the game and was standing on the side of the freeway and was attempting to shoot the drivers of the vehicles and their tires to cause some awesome crashes. He couldn't really hit anyone or their tires and was complaining of the reticle not being visible enough and should have been more like Red Dead's which I agree it takes getting used to with free aim. He got a few nice kills causing cool crashes but I decided to show 'im how a pro does it. :p Suuuurrreee, soon as I get handed the controller I saw a police car chasing someone so I decided to run into the road and shoot the police officer, BOOM (lucky)HEADSHOT. My friend was like damn you're good, POW the police car slammed into me I went flying over to the opposite lane and a semi truck plows into me mid-air I skidded across the road back to the opposite lane and slam into a car and go underneath of it and the driver just stops there while my corpse is stuck under the front bumper my guy tried to stand up and the dude drove forward a little more and I was completely under the car at that point and tick, tick, tick the God Mode cheat disabled and I died as the back tire rolled over my head.... they played pin ball with me. My friend cracks up into laughter "A real pro, man. You're a real pro." it wasn't exactly embarrassing but kinda was to me. Than again there's a whole lot of stupid, embarrassing moments that happen in GTA. That's what I've always loved about it.

The first time I played "Re-possession" I went to grab the top of the fence, but face planted into it instead not knowing it was removed from GTA IV/EFLC.

the first time i played 5 and i done that mission, when i went to climb the fence i face planted into the gate (if i remember correctly).

Last night in a lobby of about 15 players there was an American chap singing the usual 'gangster rap' nonsense down the mic.

Anyway me and my mate started asking him to do requests as he was getting a bit boring singing the same lines over and over and over! So we asked him to play a crappy british girl pop band called 'little mix'..he had absolutely no idea who they was but we told him they were as big as 'the beatles' over here, he went silent for a short while as the race was loading up....but what happened next was amazing.

As the race started we suddenly heard the song from his mic, to say these girls are awful is an understatement..anyway for 3 whole laps all we could hear was little mix and afterwards he said that it was the worst thing he had ever heard and he couldn't stop it as he was concentrating on the game...we politely said thanks and left the lobby in fits of laughter!

recently i've gone back to playing gta 5 sp after playing gta online for quite a while.

i was playing as trevor i jacked a taxi, i shot the driver and i somehow killed his passenger (i didn't know he was there at the time), i tried getting a fare a few times and each time i tried to pick them up, they would go the rear passenger door and see the dead passenger and run a way.

imagine how that made trevor look by driving around the city going to pick up fare's with a dead body in the rear??

I find this more of a funny mishap then an embarrassing moment. I can't even think of anything I would consider embarrassing. I have however, done a LOT of stupid things. Like trying to be a bad ass by jumping out my car and having it crash into a gas station, but I jumped out too late and momentum sent be barrel rolling right behind my car and ended up blowing up the gas station, my car and myself :sui:

Playing with Trevor, for some reason its always stuck with me. Picked up a lovely couple to drop off to the cult. Doing the usual journey, i decided to take a short cut up the mountain. Upon struggling to climb in the certainly unfit for purpose car jumped over a drain entrance. Trying to get traction in the horrible mud slowly edging towards the gate, i couldn't get anywhere and ended up right at the back. It just wouldn't move trying to get Trevor to push and push throttling the accelerator to no avail. i was desperate to try get these people to the cult as i had already journeyed long enough. But i ended up having to blow the poor drunk couple to pieces after getting nowhere. A funny moment in the game. Very much looking forward to starting it again.

CaptainMental

Thinking that the only way to bank my cash was to visit an ATM. I almost panicked every time a mission was over. I drove like a madman trying to find an ATM to bank my cash for a couple of weeks until a friend said "Uh, you just open up your phone and use a website and people cant steal much anyways...".

A couple times now I yanked someone out of their car, only to throw them under a passing car, to their death. too funny.

Also, It's fun to go to the top of mount chiliad and push hikers off the mountain. They can slide out of sight they go so far!

not so much embarrassing but I guess funny/sad (for me anyway) I was playing Trevor and I walked up to a old woman she said something to him and started to walk away I watched her and yeah she got hit by a cop car chasing an npc while crossing the road she went flying haha but then I felt sad after.

Surprised no one brings up the infamous torture scene. That was pretty embarrassing, cause it made me reflect on myself as a gamer and revelling in the violence...that scene turned that around on me. I didn't revel in it at all, it made me feel humble and embarassed. And disgusted.

It made me think about where I draw the line with videogame violence and why. It's not the act, it's context. A lot of the violence in gta is fun, this wasn't... And it was all context. You do way worse stuff while free roaming...but you don't do it in service of the government. In a controlled environment. You don't see the reactions...you don't have to drive the guy to the airport afterwards.

To put this in perspective...I happily blasted my way through CoD's weak ass and hypoctical attempt at this with the No Russian level. Laughing all the way, after the initial shock (2 seconds at best) wore off. This scene in GTA has actually changed me as a gamer.

Edit: airport pun not intended, BTW.

Since San Andreas I've ended up having a family member walk in on me while I'm in the strip club.

I agree, I hate the torture scene. It makes me feel like crap every time I have to hurt the poor guy, maybe he had some information but he didn't deserve that. At the very least Trevor didn't kill him after, I was fully expecting to have to take the guy somewhere and execute him.
