Displaying Photo's/artwork within Apartments.

I have a great Idea, I feel next gen consoles would have the processing power to customize your apartment by choosing your own photo's you have taken in GTA V and displaying them in your apartment, garage and/or offline houses, in specific in-game customizable photo frames and as posters...

 

Does anyone else feel this would add greatly to their own game?

 

I personally would enjoy roleplaying in game online if this was available, and would feel more inclined to build a massive portfolio of imagery ( but I'm probably dreaming here) ...

 

Also if this was available I'm sure someone could mod it to display any image, be that from the game or not. This would add greatly to the personalisation of individuals gaming experience and I hope it is modded into the PC version, if Rockstar don't create this ability themselves ( probably a long shot.)

 

I won't be getting GTA V on PC any time soon, but maybe in a few years, who knows... What are you're thoughts anyone else think this would be cool?

It should be dealt with harshly. Instant ban anyones psn/xbox live and block gta v copy from playing online/offline forever in case of porn/copyright OR any non in game taken picture.. apart from things like emblems and clan logos. All those rule breaking kiddies would vanish.

I didn't know that...

 

If the images where restricted to only the photos taken in game however there would be no chance of copyright or porn etc. though in saying that someone would probably hack it, so I guess you're right.

I would be happy if it was just my snapmatic pics. That would bypass any copyright and inappropriate material issues.

They should get their sh*t banned from Club Penguin too. Forget about it... Rockstar should send a letter to their parents demanding to beat the kids for doing that. Cool stuff gets removed because they think it's cool having porn in their chromed cars.

I like the idea. The same idea floated around the Playstation Home community once.

 

The crew emblems and Snapmatic are already synched to the R* social cub and game servers. They should let us wear custom t-shirt designs too - make an app similar to the emblem editor.

Yeah, I agree. We should still be able to show our photos in our apartments ONLY from our Snapmatic photos taken in game. The custom crew emblems is a whole different idea because those photos aren't related to the game.

Apologies OP, skim read and didn't realise you meant in game images. I feel unless it was a full wall mural detail would be compressed too much for the displayed photo subject to be discernible.
