Mansions/Condos in GTA Online

I think it's a safe bet that high end houses will come out. Mansions? Who knows. But when they do come out with proper high end houses with unique interiors that weren't copied from apartments, I hope your garage and the interior of the house load as one. That way you can walk seamlessly through the door into your garage without any loading screens.

 

It makes sense for houses, since the garage is attached to the house, where apartments are not attached to their garages. Would be a nice touch, I think.

I like the idea of mansion and more properties. I dont think they will allow us to open windows or go onto the balconies though. Either the person on the outside will be shooting at you and you cannot shoot back or if they allow us to use weapons in our apartments you will have people inside apartments sniping you while you go about your day outside.

What I'd hate about owning a mansion is that I'd have to share my yard with 15 other yahoos.

 

Just make the apartments better and give us roof access and I'll be happy.

I do want mansions...with at least a twenty car garage...

 

BUT...

 

I don't want some skin...I want there to be some activities in there...maybe a card table, pool table...etc...have some things to do in there not just have a big house you can't really interact with outside of watching TV.

 

I'm willing to wait over time for that...

They surely must be bringing new properties into the game with the release of the next gen version. If not then there will be times in free roam when you have 20+ surrounding eclipse towers. It would be worse than a zombie apocalypse!

That's what I'm hoping for. Could those cheap houses in the independence day update have been a warmup for addimg some of the houses on that lenny avery site? R* always said they could add interiors to any building. Iirc you can't see inside Franklin's house in online but you obviously can in SP. No reason they couldn't do the opposite and have all those houses on the web have trasnparent windows in online only.

They will. Rocktstar now have exponential power when it comes to designing future DLC's etc. Just wait to see what 2015 will be like. Think a year from today, then ask yourself this same question. To put it into perspective, the PS3 only has 256 of RAM (I know right?), as opposed to the PS4 which now has 8GB of RAM = 32x more RAM than the PS3!!! Think what Rockstar was limited to when it came to designing new stuff for Grand Theft Auto V on last gen, their hands were well and truly tied.

Ok here's my two cents, I understand from someone more in the know than myself that all apartments have the same location, the blue circle to enter varies of course, but the physical location of each interior is the same. Therefore I imagine Houses/Condos/Mansions would work the same way, which could also mean that the garden and balcony could be part of this protected bubble if you like, yes you can go into the garden, but you are still effectively 'in your house' and not visible to others unless you invite them to join you, same as if you are in your flat. Compare it to when you are looking down at your garage from your Del Perro apartment - you can see others sure but they cant see you.

 

Personally would love a condo or mansion, wouldn't mind having to see the occasional person driving into the garage when i was leaving or whatever. Doesnt really bother me.
