Heists better deliver BIG action scenes if no big paydays

I'm with GaryHarry on this. If it turns out that the Heists are indeed money shooting out of my console while a hot chick sucks my dick, I will be more than happy with that. Fair to say they'd get a lot of replays

i disagree, i enjoy the tough mission where there are more to them, like Los Santos Connection. More like that id play for a long time. THe simple missions that are all the same make me want to quit playing

Couple hundred grand me thinks, enough to buy one or two decent-ish cars. They will be probably take a long while to complete and/or I agree with above comments that there will be a limit on how many you can do each week/month. Now with the FPS camera the game really does have to compete with the likes of the Payday series, I am excited. I am fairly confident they were already created (or the majority of them) before launch but upon public testing they failed for whatever reason and they had to start from scratch (hell you can even see the mission objective text saying something like "go to the tellers counter" during the bank robbery scene in the GTA Online announcement trailer from way back).

i don't care about big paydays, i'm used to being broke. deliver me some fun. i would like to see more complicated stuff than the missions we have now.

I thought I was the only one who felt like this lol... money is sooooo easy to get in GTA I just want a good challenge that doesnt take a couple minutes to complete

I seriously doubt we get noteworthy paydays. And if we do, I wont be surprised if they have 90 day timers before you can collect a big payday again.

 

But what Im wanting is opportunities for BIG action scenes with crazy stunt work possibilities. A Team crazy sh*t! Id really like a heist that gives us the weapon enabled JB700. I loved that single player mission.

 

What is an epic heist mission experience that would make heists more fulfilling for you than the current jobs?

 

Well, what were you thinking?, Robbing a bank every 30 minutes and get 10 millions each time?, if you get big money in no time you'll be done with the game in 5 days.

I mean however they turn out, I seriously doubt they're going to really justify the extra year of "work" (air quotes because I have trouble believing it took them a year longer than expected)

True. A year to add a few (what are essentially) missions in a game where every other game structure is in place and running.

 

Then again, they also added 1st person view which is a huge effort to implement... so maybe something truly special awaits

They will not be worth the wait. At worst, they'll be like a longer Los Santos Connection. At best, they'll be like the final mission in SP. Either way, it's IMPOSSIBLE for them to live up to the hype surrounding them at this point. The longer the wait, the worse it's gonna be. This forum is gonna drown in tears of disappointment.

If rockstar are going to give large payouts then I can finally build up my plane collection. Realistically 10 million is more than enough to have everything. I think we should have the ability to buy more properties that's really the only motive I would have other than the fun for doing these missions.

One where you and your friends have to steal 50 cars in one night while a team of cops has to try to stop you.

 

One where a city bus is rigged with a bomb and if it goes below 50 it blows up....

 

One where you have to drive to the top of blaine county in a big rig and grab 400 cases of beer while your buddy keeps the cops away from you in his phoenix.

 

Ok i'm using action movie plots but still some of these would make great missions or heists.

Gone in 60 seconds, speed and smokey & the bandit?!?!

 

I honestly have no idea for the first one.

Considering I've been glitching for awhile and I've still been having fun, no I wouldn't be bored

What R* is going to do with online heists is edit the single player ones and replace the offline characters with online players and name it something else.

heist should be long and challenging,i dont care about the payout ,i play the game because its fun

missions that you finish in 10 minutes arent fun for me

heists should take around 30-50 minutes that would be amazing

 

of course there should be variety like:

like u need some really good driver or you will mess up

and some skilled sniper to give u cover

some gunmen

hackers

helicopter pilots and parachutes

steal a van with explosives to blow up everything

steal a jetpack from fort zancudo that the fib is trying to protect

steal 30 supercars from rich persons around the town the whole police will be after u

fly with the cargo plane jump out in cars that are modified with parachutes to rescue a crew member out of a transporter

 

so many ideas...

 

also the first person mode will bring much more fun to everything in the game

so be excited

I'm not concerned about the pay in Heists. I hope that they can be played solo. The public have problems playing simple missions. It would suck if R* forced us to play Heists with the retarded public. Trying to get someone to join a two player mission is damn near impossible. It would be the same way for Heists.

I'm saying they're not worth the wait considering how ridiculously long and uncertain it was

they could do everything right but the way they played it just isn't right and no amount of awesomeness is going to change that.

The only thing I can guarantee about heists is:

1. There will be some that think it's the best thing that ever happened in the history of game-dom...to the point you wonder if they're not being paid by Rockstar to be so effusive with their praise of the game mode.
2. There will be some that think it's the worst thing, and that Rockstar should be sued for ruining their entertainment world with a piece of half made garbage and making us wait an entire year.

And then there will be folks like me...who welcome a new game mode no matter what and hope that it's entertaining...and if it isn't...look forward t the next update understanding that our worlds won't be shattered either way.
