Charles + Ifruit vehicles transferable to current-gen systems

So the most recent information suggests that we will be able to transfer EVERYTHING over to GTAV on the current generation of consoles. Although there's been no information specifically saying that vehicles will transfer, I think most have assumed that they will.

 

Something that I (and no doubt others) have been curious about is whether this will include any vehicles that have aftermarket modifications done through Charles and the Ifruit app.

I really don't want to lose my custom Sovereign. What are the general thoughts on the matter?

Im hoping & tinking they will remain untouched. We just gotta wait & see though. I will be parting ways with my Sovereign if it goes back to the 'murica livery.

Ifruit is an official app that works (when it wants to) with the game. So I would think it'd be supported.

 

If the other is an official app, then I don't see why it wouldn't...if it's not official, then it doesn't matter.

I'll probably still keep mine if it reverts, I love touring bikes too much; I've also got nothing against the American flag, but I would prefer the custom paint-job at the end of the day.

Charles is just a proxy that allows you to intercept Ifruit orders to add a few upgrades that aren't (but should be) available within the vanilla game. Stuff like like painting over liveries, and adding window tints to motorcycles; relatively harmless in the grand spectrum of glitching and modding out there.

I hope so. I have lot of custom modded vehicles although not from iFruit (except for custom plates)

 

I have vehicles like a wingless phoenix, burrito van fully modded and insured, phoenix with gold stock wheels, clean rebel with roof lights and baja bar, and a regina with extra luggage. Most were either duped or brought in from the save editor and sp-> mp except the phoenix with gold wheels which i made using the glitch at LSC before they patched it.

 

I hope charles proxy works for the next gen game as i want CNH 320 on my Dukes.

Ifruit and charles work within what is capable in the game, it is not "modding". So anything short of some R* incompetence, nothing should change. It would be like any Zero value vehicle made with the save editor. the codes are there.

One of the trailers featured a wingless phoenix. I wonder why they didn't make this the base car with the ducktail spoiler being the first optional spoiler.

Likewise. Never got around to getting the gold wheels on my Trans-Am; something I'm going to be looking into when I get back online. If the vehicles transfer with no differences to current-gen, then I would assume Charles Proxy would remain untouched.

Yeah I know it's not "modding" per se; but I don't think Rockstar would care in the grand scheme of things, they'd ban you for the slightest infringement if they had enough evidence. Cheers for the explanation as to how it works though, you learn something new everyday.
