If there was a casino I'd probably be there at least once every time I turn the game on so I'm all for it.

Especially if the San Andreas horse racing made a comeback.

I don't think cash cards are an issue. If people want to spend money on them and lose it to R* that's their business. Transferring money between players in the same crews etc would probably be unavoidable but again if someone wants to give away their money that's up to them. I don't think it would be happening much.

Black Terminator

pool, card games, slots, betting on on multiplayer fist fights

What about betting on horses?

Heh, make a custom race on the casino track, set vehicle on "Stallion" only and you're done.

And allow betting up to 10000.

Now that is creative, which gives me a idea for next weekend. :)

If they can do it in RDR and GTA SA, its possible. I would want a casino, but im fairly sure that this will happen

Next to North Yankton, this is probably my most wanted addition.

I loved the gambling in Red Dead, even though there were only a few games.

With a casino, we could get so much more.

I do like the idea. I would really like to head over to the cas for some poker nights but it would need to be solid before R* release it. I remember in GTA SA I would head to the casino. Save at the door out the front and then go in and bet as much as I could on blackjack. If I won I saved and tried again. If I lost I would reload the save and then try again. I could see that happening with the Cas just like people do with bad sport warnings ect. As soon as they realise they have lost their money they will power down or disconnect from XBL / PSN and then reload.

I think its a brilliant idea OP. We had Casinos in GTA: San Andreas, so why not now? If I can remember rightly, there was only a horse racing betting shop in Los Santos in San Andreas PS2, technically, its near the Maze Bank building. Maybe for the PS4, XBox One and PC there is actual horse racing or greyhound racing? I mean they did horses for RDR, and dogs appeared in GTA V, so I don't think it would be hard putting it into GTA V/Online, considering that the PS4, XBox One and PC are capable of running more. There's a race track, so why not use it?

The Lonesome Drifter

Why haven't Raavi or Tiger put this in the DLC concepts subfolder yet?

Headlines two weeks after casino opens:

KILL COPS, HAVE SEX WITH HOOKERS, NOW EVIL GAME COMPANY PROMOTES UNDERAGE GAMBLING

I don't think we'll ever see it I'm afraid, R* have enough controversy follow them around as it is, without some kid's parents going to the press because he blew $3000 from their account on cash cards playing blackjack. Not sure, but as you can use real money (indirectly at least) to play maybe they would need gaming licenses as other online casinos do, if so forget playing in there if you're from the US. They should have just left the casino out of the game entirely than tease us with it.

Interesting point there actually. That could very well have implications.

EDIT: Actually thinking about it it would more likely be classified in the same boat as a pay to win game. Its not like you can get a payout from R* when you win big in the Casino. You are still limited to ingame cash only. I really dont know. Just thinking out loud.

True, but it won't stop some immature (not necessarily meaning underage) gamers from blowing a lot of real money playing, and that's publicity R* definitely don't want, especially as they already have enemies who would just love to blow things out of all proportion. Buying the odd cash card to get a Zentorno is one thing, buying them one after another cause you're stuck $GTA 3million in a poker game is another entirely.

Those were the days and best of all if you lost it was a case of just reloading the game.

I'm not sure how the legalities work; what I do know is that Digital Leisure managed to have a full-on casino in Home that paid out avatar rewards at best, and more chips secondly, for real cash.

So if Home can do it, why can't GTA?

If there was a casino there would always be a guy in a tank waiting for easy kills.

but a casino would be a good idea and they could add a cooldown timer to stop people from betting constantly.
