Seeing as the car's intercooler is front-mounted, a hood scoop is completely non-functional, and makes it look a little ricey imo. 79'Blazer4x4 Posted November 12, 2014 Share Posted November 12, 2014 It doesn't make it any better that the only hood with the scoop option is carbon fibre and I'm not a fan of different colour hoods because it ruins the colour flow of the vehicle. Look at the "bug catcher" hood mod for some of the cars. It would imply that you've added a supercharger to the car yet it does absolutely nothing to the performance. That's been a peeve of mine since GTA IV with the Dukes. The regular version has the exact same performance as the "Highway Reaper" version, despite the latter having a supercharger and clearly saying "700hp" on the side of the bug catcher.
