Hmmm I wonder if that "suspect ID number" correlates with the number of users for each system, pointless but bloody cool.

This is my take on the whole transfer issue as well... your saves will still exist on last gen, they will just copy them over to the platform of your choice, with a bit of code fidling to make em compatible of course..Yes they say onemtransfer is allowed, but if the worst happens we still have the original saves to fall back on, so if the sh*t does hit the fan, im sure they will allow us to transfer again... surely

I hope you're right. Cause I have not had good experiences with support on recouping lost progress/items, etc.

 

I think this would be too big not too tbh, its one thing delaying heists and so on but people lossing a years worth of player! It would destroy R*.. ok if it all goes tits up people will whine, but if they simlly allow us to transfer again no one has lost anything other than a few day playing next gen, not a year!

 

It would be to big not allow a re transfer imo... but I guess time will tell... I think we will be ok either way... good thing for me personly im not that bothered if my player gets wiped, but for most people! it would cause ww3.. not good for R*

 

 

 

 

Man, it'd be nice if we got something like plastic surgery parlors (like in SR) so we can change our character's look at any time.

 

Have they actually said you can only use it once? It would be really nice to be able to go back and modify it after a while.

Dont quote me on this but im SURE they said it would be a one time edit... no idea wjere I read this, or even if I DID read it, I seem to remember it being one of the first reports ign did, I dont think we will be getting plastic surgery shops to visit.. which is ashame ..

This is something for the speculation thread, so I won't say anymore on it after this - but just seems a little odd that they'd announce the release of heists in the SPRING, and then when Spring came they announced the launch of the new console game and said nothing at all about heists for the next 5 months.

 

No biggie. I won't play heists anyway. I just get a kick out of how marketing weasels work.

They gave us all a wad of virtual doller$ when it went tits-up last year, so this year they're trying to soften the possible blow by pre-empting it. It's common sense on their part, to me.

I do not know, surely a business idea to encourage some players to buy the game on Next-gen? Because heists will be certainly better on PS4/X1.

i think it might be overall RP count looks like.

 

On the point of one time transfer f*cking up. I would assume it would be as easy as submitting a support ticket on the forums saying the transfer messed up. I mean its fairly simple to have them reset custom plates in ifruit. Takes less than 20 mins after ticket. I would think they would "clear" your account for a transfer again

yeah they prob said after the found out next gen came out we can make it better for nxt gen so do that

You *may* be thinking of the fact that it's been stated that transfers are a one time thing. I don't think I've seen anything about the character creator and I personally can't see any reason why we can't just bring up the start menu and change them whenever we like. But, this is Rockstar after all. Not best known for what seems like common sense.

Yes they are. I don't know if you read it, but the original IGN article said that the features of the character creator rivalled that of Tiger Woods PGA Golf Tour. That was on PS3.

 

I'm not saying old gen consoles will get this, but to say they're not capable is laughable.

 

Incidentally, what was your username on here before you created this new member account?

There also wasn't 16 people, and two cities, cars, guns, and an open world in PGA Tour.. but, yeah, if its nothin but shaping there shouldnt be an issue or reason why old gen wouldnt have it. Edited by pizza4life

The only way for Rockstar to allow that is a pricetag. If a haircut is like 8k (can't remember) then a eyebrow lift should cost 10k per inch.

PS3/X360 character creator was the result of being obsessed of innovating while killing it's usefulness.

 

Same like Snapmatic. They can just code something to let us hold a button for 2 secs to capture the whole screen, or maybe pull up phone and click Snapmatic icon to capture the whole screen. Instead, they choose useless and limited screenshotting for the sake of being different. Pretty dumb.

no cryn.. they announced months ago its was coming to ps4 if u didnt save up thats on you... you knew it was going to be better

I think so, probably even sooner than that, I mean why announce something pre-launch if you know it'll take you over a year to actually do it?

they're lying bastards but they're not idiots. weird thing is though, what the heck made them change their minds?

really bad PR move to "promise" something and than don't deliver

than again they could go door to door to kick every1 who purchased this game in the balls and people would still buy it, so the probably just thought "f*ck em, we allready have their money based on false promises and we're gonna use heists to boost next gen sales "
