I just thought of something that would be reaaaaaaaaaallllly cool, if instead of walking into a blue marker and teleporting into your apartment, you could just walk through the door into your apartment, and then have the ability to lock the door when you want so you wont get other players walking in and murdering you, and same for the garage, if instead of just teleporting in, if you could just drive up to the garage, have it open, and park wherever the hell you want, that would be soo cool

lets start a poll and see how many people wanna make this possible so we can show it to rockstar and hopefully they will make it happen :)

maybe you could like press a button and then have a menu drop down saying unlock so and so's apartment or your own apartment, idk if that would work but theres gotta be a way around it

surely it could just default to driving you into your own garage and then you have to use a buzzer to request access to others.

 

not fussed either way since it only takes a few seconds

Im not fussed about the time it takes to load either, i just think it would be realy cool, just to be able to walk in freely and lock the door after, itd be more realistic, and less like a tardiss that you just teleport,in to

Its a good idea, though I see it as a camping spot for tanks. I want to go home, oh wait I can't, theres a tank parked right in front of the door and he's not friendly. Having open apartments would be nice addition though. Nice idea OP :)

I hate the apartment loading times. they are kind of a step back for Rockstar.

 

I just started brainstorming on this, and Rockstar could have gotten a little more creative.

 

We couldve had, Really Expensive Hotel Rooms, with Parking garages for our current personal vehicle. Garages for the other personal vehicles could remained the same though

 

Maybe in GTA VI.

i was hoping R* would allow " guest " to walk in through door and ask where's the room's owner at option ( also player cannot draw a gun inside nor kill anyone inside , including occupant . unless they get out )

I liked the gta 4 feature of apartments where you would have to go in a lobby and use the elevator to get to your apartment. That would be pretty cool to me but I doubt they will include that on next gen.
